Delta Air Lines Inc — Local services in Ontario

While I usually book flights out of Santa Ana to Seattle when in SoCal, I opted for a flight out of Ontario as it was during the holiday season and flight prices were elevated. I liked how quiet ONT is, which is a lot less congested than LAX and even SNA. Delta has limited flights out of this airport as it only flies to Atlanta, Salt Lake City and Seattle from here, but still seems to have a decent presence here based on their check-in area.

My flight was on Airbus A220, which is a new plane that Delta has in its fleet. I like flying Delta as their planes have IFE screens to watch movies and TV shows, in addition to the Wi-Fi and streaming entertainment services. Flight service was so-so as there was turbulence and the flight attendant serving drinks was a bit rude when I asked for coffee. I was tired and wanted a pick-me-up. Given the context, I could understand why they would question serving coffee when there was turbulence but I did not like the way it was communicated. It would have been better to provide coffee once the turbulence subsided if that was an issue. I would still consider flying Delta and out of ONT in general, if the fare was significantly...

The staff was wonderful and great customer service with the exception of 1 employee who complained about everything and was rude. The plane was filthy. Our first flight from Ontario to Atlanta arrived a few min early but all terminals were busy and we were rerouted to a terminal on the other side of the airport. With this and Delta rescheduling our 2nd flight we had 15 minutes to get off one plane and get to the next....as we are running to our gate Delta changed gates!!! Once we arrived to the "new correct" gate, the plane didnt have a Captain!!! So we were so lucky to sit in a very hot plane waiting for the Captain to land in Atlanta from another flight he was completing. Our final destination will not be landing on time. Very frustrating for seats and flights to be changed a few days before our trip and then to have multiple changes at the airport. With the ticket prices I would expect so...

Our recent experience with Delta Airlines was extremely frustrating. Our flight was delayed by more than six hours, and at midnight, it was ultimately canceled with no clear explanation or assistance. We were simply told to rebook for the next day, leaving us stranded at the airport without any support.

To make matters worse, when I contacted Delta for compensation, they mistakenly canceled my return flight as well. This error caused significant inconvenience and required two hours of international phone calls to resolve (I’m still waiting anxiously for KLM to resolve).

This experience has left us very disappointed, and I would hesitate to book with Delta again in the future. Clear communication and better customer support are critical areas that need...
