I share the same sentiments as the poster named Eddy that posted regarding persons from desk being rude and management's need to prioritize hiring individuals with bright personalities... in particular BRIANNA was plain rude and un accommodating when I Approached front desk to check into a reservation that had been extended on 7/1, BRIANNA rudely and LOUDLY stated, you have a really big balance , I immediately informed her that what she saw on her screen was a mistake and asked her to speak to Yvonne in accounting to clear matters up. Yvonne came to the front desk from the back, tried explaining to BRIANNA, who gave us both some nice nasty attitude, trying to interject herself in my conversation w Yvonne and cut me off trying to assume why my card was overcharged 4 times in an amount that equaled the entire amount of reservation plus tax multiplied by 4 not just deposit amounts, full charges....Woman is just plain RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, FULL OF NEGATIVE ASSUMPTIONS AS IF WHAT HAPPENED WITH THEIR SYSTEM WAS SOMEHOW CUSTOMERS FAULT, UNWELCOMING AND DOESN'T SEEM TO LIKE PEOPLE OR HER JOB. BRIANNA DOESN'T SMILE AT YOU, WELCOME YOU, TELL YOU TO HAVE A GREAT DAY, THANK YOU FOR BEING TITANIUM ELITE, NOTHING.... UNBELIEVABLY RUDE and in all my years of traveling never had a front desk associate be so disrespectful to a customer.
Even when she was done with my transaction, BRIANNA gave me one coffee certificate (the only thing the hotel offers elite guest) and when I asked her for one for my daughter, because we had been receiving 1 per guest, she told me NO, ONE PER RESERVATION. I said thank you and walked away, went upstairs and called management.
BRIANNA acts as if it's her pleasure to tell Guest NO. Doesn't even treat colleagues with the proper respect. I had just emailed them my explorer form on 6/20, on 7/1 she acted as if she couldn't find it, so I emailed it to the same email address AGAIN for her reference.
Just a miserable woman who will make you miserable dealing with her. Not a happy person and not a pleasant person to encounter. Did not make us feel welcome at all.
Lastly in 2 weeks no upgrade abalone on room, parking lot empty but they claim no suites available as of 7/1.
Lobby Elevators didn't work from 6/24 at least through 7/2
6/30 for alarm going off 10Am because of another guest, no points or compensation offered to any guest many of its were told.
Some guest had no hot water in shower. They can do better there, heading that was concerning. EVERYONE SHOULD'VE AT LEAST BEEN GIVEN EXTRA POINTS, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT ALL OF THEIR GUEST COULD'VE LEFT TO FIND A LOCATION TO STAY THAT HAD WORKING AMENITIES AND BETTER GUEST TREATMENT. THEY COULD LEARN A LOT FROM THE SHERATON GATEWAY LAX IN TERMS OF SERVICE.

Read moreI would give 2.5 stars if I could but wasn't an option. After the poor nights sleep I had I couldn't give 3. Stayed on a Monday night had an early morning flight for work in the morning. I always try to stay at a Marriott as a Gold Member and try and read the reviews beforehand, but there was only one review because its new/renovation. GPS takes you down a road that has a gate to the parking lot but it's locked so you end up going back out and having to make a U-turn. Weird location. The lobby looks beautiful and it ends there. I waited a long time at the front desk as the staff was out delivering something to a room. I had to ask the bar staff where the front desk staff were. It was my birthday so I said it would be nice to be in an upgrade. My room assignment was 1st floor down several hallways at the other end of the property. Nothing special. It's nice that it's new and the bed was comfortable. I had medication in a cold bag that needed kept cold and the mini fridge didn't get cold - didn't even get COOL! I went to get ice for my bag and the signage was very poor and it was quite a distance from our room and the dang thing wasn't working. It was 11 p.m. and I called the front desk and was told there are ice makers on every floor. Excuse me?? I'm not going up and down floors looking for a working ice machine. The girl I spoke with said she would bring some to my room. I ended up calling up front desk again about 30-40 minutes later and finally got a bag of ice. The HVAC was an issue, I tried to turn the fan on AUTO so it would come on and off but it never shut off so I had to manually do it. Then it got warm so I had to turn it back on. It was loud and it rattled off and on and there was a constant humming all night from the wall, like pipes do sometimes. It wasn't loud but it was constant. We needed a shuttle to the airport at 5 a.m but shuttle doesn't start until 6 :-( There was already some wear and tear (like peeling wallpaper) or just lack of finishing and I wasn't impressed overall with the hotel and wouldn't stay again or recommend to my friends or family. What an absolutely fantastic day at the Delta Hotel!
From the moment I walked through the doors, this hotel exceeded every expectation. My experience began with Beverly at check-in, who was simply phenomenal. She went above and beyond to assist me and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. Her warm welcome and attention to detail immediately set the tone for what would be an exceptional experience.
The entire staff at this hotel deserves recognition - from the restaurant team to the bartenders to even the maintenance crew. What struck me most was how genuinely friendly everyone was. Every single person I encountered greeted me with a warm "hello" and a genuine smile as we passed in the hallways. You can really feel that this team takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for their guests.
The bar experience was top-notch with expertly crafted drinks, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant staff clearly knows what they're doing - every bite was flavorful and well-prepared.
My room was absolutely gorgeous and immaculately clean. The attention to detail in housekeeping was evident everywhere I looked. The only minor issue I encountered was that the door was a bit difficult to open, but honestly, that's such a small thing compared to everything else that was perfect.
Bottom line: I wholeheartedly recommend the Delta Hotel at Ontario Airport. This is hospitality done right, and I'll definitely be staying here again. A well-deserved 10 out of 10!
