LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Opelika

Hostess just starred at me.. I gave her a moment and still had not asked how many will be dining or nothing.. I said 4 people pleaee.. she said what's the number I'm dumb too I guess 🤪 I said 4 sheez...we clearly standing in front of this lady noone else in line and just a person or two going to bar..I know this place can handle crowd but Tonight was not going well.. we get a text alarm on phone and she said there is a 15 min wait.. I'm hungry but we here it was 30 mins later after watching patron after patron leave family's hugging at door and having a great time.. I know I've seen 6 tables cleared and cleaned and they weren't half tables use from time we walked in.. 30 mins and there is 3 family's behind us waiting now.. we ate and were leaving when the last people that was waiting behind us was being seated.. I'm shocked at the way this business now takes on customers very concerned with why would you not put hungry people with money at a table and 30 min wait with noone in front of us is unacceptable. The waitress and her trainer made up for our experience I'm gonna say Anna and shelby.. I wish I would have seen a nameplate cause they both came by with refill and got it all perfect with 3 kids that sometimes difficult for anyone.. and the girl being trained came over and introduced herself as a trainee under Anna(again maybe) and they both impressed me . I hope someone reads this and corrects the Hostess lack of life..still the wait for no reason is to much 30 mins andi end up with 2 really good waitresses and food was quick also.. left confused and torn..and no bread cause...

We used the app to get in line and pulled into the parking lot when we were 3rd in line (by the time we reached the host stand we were "called"). They must be short on waitresses (12/31/2022), because it took over 7 minutes for our waitress to return to our table (each time), and she was distracted (not very observant: (example) at the end she visited our table 3 times (7+ minutes each visit) after we had stacked and organized everything on the table). My lady's birthday is the reason we came, her daughter ran out of soda and me out of water multiple times (sucking on melting ice), the 4th member got there we still hadn't gotten our bread, and the mixed drinks we ordered: heavy handed on the alcohol (threw the flavor off in left field). 4 person table: 4 salads, all made the same except the dressing (on the side), 3 delivered, then mine later (when everyone got their entrees), I got my entree after the bread was delivered. My 🍔 looked like a well made sonic burger (but twice the price)...remember the weight refers to the meat WHEN ITS FROZE, NOT AFTER IT'S COOKED (so it sounded bigger on the menu). We spent over 115$, the best thing about the entire thing was the conversation. The food was made right(buffed up in description), but the only reason I got full was my lady and her daughter didn't finish their salads and appetizer.. we would have ordered desert and more appetizers, but they filled up on bread, salads; and bread waiting for...

I was not satisfied with the service yesterday or the food to start off we got a Texas tonion it was nasty and I also go to longhorn it literally tasted like straight rubber soggy dough and a hard onion on the inside !! Then we waited 30 mins for our main course and then when it came out the food was called I got the Parmesan crusted chicken and literally the whole top part felt like they pulled it out the fridge and slapped it on top of the chicken !! Then my boyfriend got a steak and lobster but he wanted his steak cooked all the way to the point I told the server well well done so then when his steak came out it was bloody and just dripping everywhere but at this time I was ready goo because the server checked on us one time then when I was trying to tell her about my meals when she passed by she is going to hand me my ticket and ask if we needed to go boxes and we only had a food for damn near 15 mins …then what’s crazy I didn’t even know my servers name because when she started she walked to the table and asked what we wanted to drink instead of introducing herself… 0/10 server needs more customer service !! And what makes me so angry is they had a whole two hours before they closed but my server was...
