Subway — Restaurant in Opelika

Awful abusive management, manager Lynn Mills treats her employees horrible. There has been two incidents in which she cornered a 17 year old employee into a tight space while yelling in their face and banging her hand on things. She drinks on the job, she leaves the store a wreck and does not help out. One of her employees sliced the tip of her finger off and was gushing blood, she did not attempt to help the hurt employee and got upset when other employees were trying to help instead of working. The employee went to the store the following day to fill out an incident report after getting stitches for the wound. The manager allowed her to work OFF THE CLOCK after she has just gotten stitches. Manager does not value or appreciate employees at all. Her employees break their back and overwork themselves to keep that store running and she shows no appreciation. Manager also has left the store with only one other employee there, leaving that employee alone for hours. She takes hour-2 hour long breaks everyday but gets upset when her staff wants to sit down and eat for 15 minutes. Overall, ever since Lynn became manager the store has gone downhill. Running errands in Opelika and decided to grab some Subway there instead of when I got back to Lanett. Best customer service/takeout in awhile. Ordered curbside pickup online and forgot they were not even half a block from Kroger so I was early & had to wait. Very sweet lady(didn't see a name tag)came out, confirmed who I was and let me know she's still working on my order. There was a long line in-store. No problem. I firmly believe the customer in front of you should be the priority, but soo very appreciated being kept informed. Few mins later another super sweet lady(again no name tag)brought my order out to me. Absolute wonderful customer service at its best. Always pass this location, but never ate there until today. You pay full price for a sandwich but they don’t have the products to make the sandwich you CHOOSE. When I got home I put meat on my sandwich. You could see through their slices. Attendant making my sandwich had hair flowing all over the place. I thought Subway policy was against this…no Supervisor in sight.

The last time I was there girl making my sandwich was talking to someone on her earbuds the entire time. She had “attitude” when I said I couldn’t understand her. I thought she was asking me about my sandwich. She was talking on the PHONE! They had no veggies for the sandwiches except pickles and hot peppers. Not my recipe was the VEGGIE!
