This was our first time going before school started. I made our appointment for 1:30 and showed up 10 minutes early. They clearly overbooked people because by 2:20 my daughter and I still were sitting and waiting. They kept telling us 5 more minutes...5 more minutes. Finally we got helped and they did a really nice job on my pedicure. But when they took my daughter they literally had her put her feet in the water, then quickly slapped on polish on her toes and nails and tried to say it was a kids Manicure and Pedicure. She was bummed because they literally took 10 minutes on her and then rushed over to 2 kids and a mom who had just arrived. It irritated me a lot since we had been sitting there almost 1.5 hours at that point, so I decided against spending more time and told them I didn't want my manicure after all. The technician was clearly annoyed and asked where I had to be. I told her we'd been here 1.5 hours and it took them almost an hour just to start on us and I couldn't sit there any longer with an impatient 7 year old. Overall, this place was nice, clean, and they did a nice job on MY pedicure, but I was REALLY upset when they tried to call the 10 minutes with my child a mani/pedi. I booked the whole thing FOR MY DAUGHTER and they spent no time at all with her. I should have argued the "pedicure" but I told them they did not give her a mani, so they charged me $25 for the pedicure and $8 for a polish change on her fingers, but they tried to charge me initially for both a kids manicure and pedicure. They prioritized customers walking in the door who had been waiting for 10 minutes over customers who made an appointment and waiting 50 minutes. I don't know if we'll be coming back, which is bummer because it seems like a really nice place. We just got short changed due to their time...
Read moreI had an appointment for a gel manicure. I already had a gel manicure on my nails from this same location, 3 weeks earlier. I told the woman I wanted the same thing, gel French tips. She started doing my nails, and using dip, and I asked her why she was using the dip and reminded her I wanted a gel manicure. She told me the gel had cracked my nails and that she couldn’t do the gel again. I repeated that I had asked for gel, I sat there visibly upset and let her finish. The dip made my nails look super trashy with the French tips and I hate how it looks. I went to check out and my total was $75 for a dip manicure. I was shocked at the price. This manicure didn’t include any type of massage/lotion, nothing special, and I didn’t get a fancy shape and also it was my real nails not extensions. I asked her what the price difference was from the gel that I asked for and had an appointment for, and the gel was $50-55. So she deceived me into paying $25 more on a service I did not want, ask for, and don’t like. Trying to rip someone off for a mere $25, is it really worth losing a customer over? You could have made a lot more had you not ripped me off. Will never go back here and would recommend to others if you’re looking for an honest and transparent business to look elsewhere. Also, at the end she asked me to use Venmo or Cash when I tried to use my card. I’m not helping you bypass paying taxes, especially when you’re...
Read moreThought this was a nice clean place which it is clean and they are nice BUT :The first time I came in my polish came off all in one piece the same day they were done. Probably didn't get the oils and lotions off my toes before they polished them. The second time I went in and I explained this to them, he just stood there and smiled and said ok,ok! I just wanted them to know so that it wouldn't happen to someone else. A different gentleman did my pedicure. He polished my toes before putting lotion on and only put lotion on my legs so my feet didn't get any lotion. The worst part was he used a "cheese grater" on my calluses and grated both big toes down so far that they have a raw spot on them. It's been a week now and I have to continuously wear a Band-Aid saturated with Vaseline on my big toes or they will burn like they're on fire. I've been doing pedicures for 35 to 40 years and I've never had anybody scrape my calluses down so far that my toes are so sore. When you have a pedicure you do it so your feet feel better. Not for your toes to be sore. It's been one week and they're still not better. It's going to take...
