Salty Dogs DIY Dog Wash — Local services in Ormond Beach

Sadly after dealing with the very rude and ill mannered young lady at the front of the establishment my business and dogs will not be utilizing their services. While attempting to have a conversation with the groomer to ascertain if the services would be appropriate for my pups, the receptionist/checkout lady rudely interrupted our conversation and made it plain that I was not welcome to speak to the groomer. Personally, I will not take my dogs to any establishment without speaking to the groomer first. The groomer seemed very nice and competent. However, I am not leaving my pups for even an hour with individuals that behave that rudely towards others.

Oh my. Please accept my sincere apologies if a dog was on a table when I was speaking to the groomer. As she was not actually in the grooming room but out in the open where she could be seen and based on a comment she made I was under the impression she had just finished with a dog and was available to chat regarding her grooming techniques.

Also while politely asking someone if they need help is good business practice. Many times it is not what you say but how you say it. That was my point. That I stand by and I rarely give any business a bad review so your front door staff made quite an impression.

That said if the groomer was with a dog at the time it was not apparent, and we both at least agree no dog should be left unattended during a grooming session. Again my sincere apologies if she was with a dog. I would never knowingly interrupt a grooming session.

This is not just one good experience, this is a 5 year long, time after time experience, with positive everything always every time. The owner Kier, first is incredible, kind and will take great care of your pet/best friend. Jess, the groomer cares for my MEME, a yellow lab with all she has every time and I know She gives the extra time and attention to every detail and it shows! New to Ormond Beach and was desperately searching for a DIY Dog Wash to take my malnourished, emaciated, broken spirited rescue that just arrived from being transported across country. This was just the right place to take her, she was welcomed by the owner with such love and empathy. She walked us through how the baths work, helped her in the tub, supplied us with an apron, towels, and even comped her first visit! Wonderful staff, beautiful environment, very clean, you don't need any supplies, they provide it all! We couldn't be more grateful. Since the first visit we have been a second time and the owner welcomed us with open arms again. I cant say enough great things about Salty Dogs. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
