My family and I came here twice. The first time the service was good and the food was amazing. However, when I asked what type of smoothies they had because they weren’t listed on the top menu, the guy in the back appeared annoyed and stated to the cashier they are right there. I blew it off as maybe he was just busy. So we decided to go back there a second day. The man appeared annoyed stating “it’s going to be a little bit” which no big deal. We stood there waiting patiently. He proceeded to use fowl language in the back stating “I’m going to F-ing lose it today” and had a very poor attitude. Then at 9:30 in the morning states “we are closing we can’t make you breakfast” but left the light on and another family walked in. If you are going to stress out over 5 people maybe you should reconsider business procedures/processes. I get there are bad days but there’s a different way to address the situation. You shouldn’t make paying customers feel unwanted when that’s what keeps your business running.
Customer service needs to be addressed as that can be detrimental to a business especially cussing within earshot of customers. Felt very unwanted and unfortunately will take my money elsewhere. Food was great though.
I gave a 3 for atmosphere as the place is clean but your employees made it an...

Read moreWe visited the Beachside Cafe with friends on a Tuesday morning. This small, colorful spot is located in a mall just off Ocean Shore Boulevard in Ormond Beach, Florida. We were warmly welcomed by Jimmy, who was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to interact with.
The Beachside Cafe serves breakfast and lunch and closes at 2 PM. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, including bagels, breakfast burritos, omelets, and sandwiches. I had the French Toast, while others in our group enjoyed a Jalapeno Bagel and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was great and came in a huge cup —perfect for caffeine lovers!
Everything was well-prepared and delicious. French toast can sometimes be hit or miss, but this one was excellent. The rest of our group was equally pleased with their choices.
In summary, we’ll definitely be returning to the Beachside Cafe next time we’re in Ormond Beach—hopefully sooner rather than later! Special thanks to Jimmy, who truly takes great care of the guests. Just a quick note: they close at 2 PM, so if you’re planning on lunch, be sure to get there on...
