Update #2: my youngest Daughter went in today, and Madison Harper did a wonderful perm on her! I could not have asked for better for my daughter! I am delighted every single time that I go to the salon to anybody there! Update: Since leaving my first very positive review of this salon, I have since visited them twice, so I want to update my review! I came in for a brow wax with Maddy and got just the shape I wanted that other places have failed to help me obtain. Last night, I had step 2 of my "embracing the gray" journey with Carissa. I did my first step at a different salon, but changed salons on purpose due to distance and my own nerves over continuing this process. I am going from box dyed black hair to gray, so it is going to be a long process and I just felt I needed a clinician with a huge amount of confidence and able to be realistic with me along the path. Carissa is it!!!! I felt very comfortable. She listened well and was honest with me about how we are going to go about this process from this point forward. My 2nd stage result was even more of a difference than I had anticipated as being possible- so this is exciting! I have already made my next appointment with Carissa! You go girl!

Part 1 of my review: Hello all! So I walked in today to check out the salon and confirm my appointment for the 23rd with Carissa. I will certainly review again at that time but I was SOOOO impressed when I walked in, that I couldn’t help but come on here today and talk about my visit. Now I’m horrid with names and sadly do not recall the names of either of the amazing two ladies I spoke with. One worked the front desk and another is a stylist that came to speak with me. They verified that I had scheduled the appropriate appointment for this embracing the gray journey I am on and told me what I could expect. They were both so personable and friendly as well as knowledgeable. The salon is beautiful too! After talking to those two gals, I left feeling completely calm and knowing I’m in the right hands! So hats off...

Most of the individual stylists here are really incredible, nice, and do great work. However, the first time I went here, I was asking for advice/recommendations on some of the products I use (lots of them drugstore, because that's my budget) and the owner walked by and literally acted disgusted, cussed, and implied I was stupid for trusting ANY products from target. I felt demeaned and belittled by the owner who I found incredibly unprofessional and rude. Many cheaper products are actually produced by the same labs and distributers as high end brands. If you can't recommend me products in my price range because you want to sell me stuff from your store, I can't trust your opinions.

I have seen and heard other things about some incredibly catty, mean girl behavior from the owners and between some of the stylists. At the time, I liked the stylist I was working with and didn't want to write a bad review in case they blamed it on her, even though it was the owner that was rude to me. I since learned that my stylist isn't working there anymore, and I will not be returning with my business to this establishment or recommending it to others because the environment is so toxic and like a sorority, and I was treated with mockery for asking for recommendations for products within my budget.
