So before I get into this story, I would personally like the thank Diane (or Diana sorry) for how amazing she was. If this store does any sort of recognition for their employees, she deserves it!
Now Iām not one to write reviews but I needed to share this. I purchased some black booties online to pick up in store, something I normally do since Iām a size 12 in woman. I went to the store to pick up the boots only to discover at home that they were gray with a huge black sharpie mark on them. I thought maybe these were returned and somehow ended up with me by mistake. I went to the other location on broadway since I was on that side of town to exchange them for the pair that I wanted. The woman there was kind enough to help and told me my new boots would be delivered at home to no extra cost. I was super thankful and a week later I get my package, only to find that the boots were again gray. At this point I figured I would just return the boots out of frustration. So I went back to this location, told Diane what I went through and how I honestly just wanted my money back. She could tell I was flustered and frustrated but made me feel so calm and made sure I was her first priority. Anyone who called, she kindly asked to put them on hold and immediately told another associate to help with whoever was on the line. Whenever a customer came over to purchase their items, she reassured me that she would be quick and that she would be right back. She quadruple checked that my boots were the correct color and size and my address was right and just made me feel as though I was the most important customer in there. Iāve never been one to ask for special treatment, never been given it, and since Iāve worked in the retail business before, I know how challenging situations like these can be. Iām happy to say that I finally got my boots just in time for the holidays and I can not praise her enough! Thank you again for making me feel so comfortable and special! I will be sure to return to this...

I have shopped at this location before but today I was checked out by a male employee who was extremely rude to me. I was nothing but sweet, patient and calm. I am a new VIP DSW member and was trying to navigate my membership and pull up a coupon. He was extremely impatient, did not offer to help me, made me feel like I was wasting his time (I was at the check out for a total of 5-7 minutes) and tried to argue with me and "prove me wrong". I personally hate confrontation, so I just paid and got out of there as soon as I could. I truly wanted to cry leaving this store after how mean this man was to me. I really hope this man finds another job that makes him happy. It is not worth it to be this horrible to people...
