Oro Valley Ace Hardware — Local services in Oro Valley

I would give a negative rating if I could. A month ago we brought our sliding screen door in to have a broken wheel replaced. Checked back two weeks ago and it hadn't been touched. Finally went in today just to retrieve it and was informed that it had been repaired over a week ago. No phone call, text, or any other notification letting us know it was done. Got home and installed it only to discover that no matter how much WD-40 we sprayed on the track it would barely move. Very cheap......exceedingly cheap wheels were installed on it, and after close inspection we found a small rip in the screen material that wasn't there when we brought it in. And they charged us nearly $60 for this shoddy work. Won't be going back there...

This Ace Hardware store is large, well outfitted, and well stocked with competitive prices. To my delight, they have a plant nursery! This Ace is 15 miles from me with a dozen others in between, but I saw they had an item cheaper than the other Ace stores. I had a doctor's appointment way out there, so I stopped at this Ace near his office. The prices seemed a little better than others, not just the item I was searching for. But the plant nursery, albeit small, had a lot of seasonal plants for sale at a really good price. They had a lot of plants marked down for quick sale. The best ACE Hardware. I like ACE because they may not have a huge assortment of the same item but that's because they only stock the stuff that actually works. This ACE in particular has the best customer service of any local ACE whether they are busy or not. I've been to another ACE on Thornydale that was never busy when I went in and still the employees would treat me like I was bothering them by being in their store. I only went to that other location because my local ACE didn't have a certain product but I won't return to the other location even if they have...
