Waited for my online order to be brought out for over 15 minutes from curbside delivery ..when I went inside to finally receive my order myself there was only one person at the front desks just scrolling on their phone. Some young kid , I told him I was outside waiting for my order for over 20 minutes… He apologize and handed me my order. They were also missing one of my items in my order as well…so he had to go look for it then while he was doing that… I ordered another item online when I was standing in at the store , just for them to tell me that they don’t even have it in stock when it says online (“pick up ready in 15 minutes in Stock 2 available”)……Absolutely horrible, corporate customer service absolutely horrible local customer service will not be returning to Ace Hardware location ever again big fat zero -10 stars. Read moreEven though the guy working here (wish I knew his name!) gave us a funny look when we pulled up in our VW Bug with an armoire hanging out the back, he found him to be the most helpful individual we've ever encountered at a hardware store. My husband ran in to buy some rope to keep our trunk stable. It was pretty obvious we didn't know how to tie a good knot...thankfully the handy hardware store guy offered to help. Lucky for us, he had lived in Maine and worked on the lobster boats! This guy knows how to tie some pretty dang good knots! We made it back to Minneapolis (in 1 1/2 hrs thanks to traffic, bumps, and a slow accelerating car) and had some good laughs along the way...I mean really, the armoire was almost the same size as my car. I recently purchased a new Toro lawnmower from them, used it twice and had issues. I brought the mower back to see if there may had been issues with the setup only to be told by the Manager that he could not do a thing and rudely told me that I needed to go to a Toro service center. He never even looked at the mower.
