The food is the same quality as any Culver's. However, we had an epic horrible experience here this week that exposed both the local franchise and corporate failure to address mistakes. Made a 20 minute round trip to grab lunch through the drive through. Got entire wrong order. Didn't notice we got someone else's order until we got home. Tried to call. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE. Tried multiple times both when we discovered the mistake and later throughout the day. The Navarre Culver's simply didn't answer their phone, at all, all day. This may still be the case now. Tried calling the corporate hot line. ONLY OPTION IS TO LEAVE A MESSAGE but recording says they will follow up on all feedback immediately and call you back. 3 days later, never got a call back. Filled out a feedback form on their corporate site. Three days later, never got a response. A fun side note from the corporate on line feedback system: It asks you do use details and explain as much as possible, then, without warning spits back a "too many characters" error if it too long. Amazing. Since nobody answers the phone, we repeated the 20 minute round trip drive to the Navarre Location that evening. Apologies and a promise to make it right, through the drive through. Repeated correct order, didn't have to pay, but NOBODY EVER CAME OUT TO DELIVER THE CORRECT ORDER. Had to go inside. Talked to a very confused staff AGAIN and had to start the whole story over from scratch. Lots of kids running around behind the counter, more apologies, nobody in charge, everyone confused. Somehow against all odds got the correct order, finally for "free". Our "free" dinner only cost us two 20 minute round trips, a combined hour in waiting, explaining their mistakes to them twice in person and twice on line or phone in exchange for the one correct response. Also did of course actually pay for the meal in the first place when we got the wrong one. They did throw in 2 coupons for a value basket for our troubles so we can use that if we ever want to invest a half day and pulling our hair out again. Mistakes happen. It is how you deal with them that defines your service. Utter failure both locally and from not one but two corporate options. They have set up a system that insulates them...
Read moreFinal Edit- I did bring up the review a bit after some consideration. The cookie cutter blanket response from the owner is unfortunate. Don't say your hiring all year round when you are not. Initial Review- I've been coming here on occasion for years and the food is always great. Staff has always been awesome too. The onion rings are my go to and the meat quality is way better than other fast food brands.
But I had a really bad experience trying to get a job here. Their website said they were hiring and management was saying they needed closers, so I went in for an interview after applying. When I called to follow up, the same representative I'd talked to twice over the past couple weeks literally hung up on me only after just saying my name.
I've worked fast food for several years and honestly never had anything like this happen. It's just rude and unprofessional. Don't waste people's time if you're not serious about hiring. This seems like an internal miscommunication as a simple "No" would have sufficed.
Great place to eat, but their hiring process & communication is a mess. I am giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and hoping management will address this, but right now it's pretty disappointing. I will be eating somewhere else from now after this experience if it...
Read moreCame in with family and our service dog for dinner the other day. Was told by worker at register we couldn't have dogs in the building. We said it was our service dog and then a girl came over (I presume a manager?) and said dogs still weren't allowed in the resturaunt. We repeated it was a service dog and she asked if we had anything to prove that which is something that it not supposed to be asked for in businesses. We stated we had some paperwork in the car to which she responded, "well it's still just not allowed ". Then about 4 or 5 team members were all huddled around each other behind the counter and looking at us and it made us feel pretty uncomfortable. My other family members said "let's just go outside" but it was really humid out that day so It was uncomfortable sitting out there to eat our food. We have never had an issue with this Culvers or any other Culvers bringing in our service dog but unfortunately this last time will probally have us re thinking eating there in...
