Clean, spacious and reasonably priced. The entire RV park is paved with grass and garden spaces in between. There are trees but they are still too young to provide shade. There is enough room for even the largest rig. There is a nice vacant lot to play with your dog as well as a small fenced dog run. The park also features washrooms/showers, laundry room, pool, hot tub and gym facilities. The hot tub has apparently been out of order for 2 years but I believe it was fixed while we were here. There’s a gas station, convenience store and coffee shop at the entrance. They offer same-day reservations on their website. There were only a couple of disappointments that were annoying but not enough to detract from overall 5 stars. The folks at the convenience store know very little about the RV park so if you come after-hours without a reservation, you are on your own. Make sure to go back in the morning to get your welcome package with access card and coupons. The wifi is not very good and should not be relied upon for anything else but basic emails. The laundry machines take credit/debit cards and are very finicky. I found that putting the card in and out very quickly works. Overall an...
Read moreWe had heard good things about the Berry Creek Rancheria near the base of the Oroville dam. We spent three nights here in July and it is a clean and almost new RV resort. There is a pool, restrooms and the spaces are nicely situated. Advanced technology is used to water the grass from underneath the ground next to each rig. Registration takes place inside theMini mart gas station. We found the registration process quite streamlined and we are were allowed to enter about an hour early. The woman staffing the registration office was extremely helpful and made several calls for us to find a good place for takeout dinner etc.||There were obviously some large family groups or close friends camping together but everyone else kept their social distance. The pool was lovely and we almost had a private restroom next to our rig which was at the end of the road. The casino is on the property but we did not have a chance to visit as we were too busy taking hikes and exploring the recreation area. We will definitely visit very Berry Creek rancheria again in the fall. This is rancheria/reservation land owned and managed by the MAIDU...
Read moreFantastic RV Park, maybe a bit to close to the road but traffic quietens down overnight. You will love the gorgeous pool with ankle deep 'beach ends’ for little ones to play of mum & dad to laze on the supplied pool recliners, there’s an oversized Jacuzzi Hot tup and 6 luxurious showers are at poolside. The RV Park sits behind a massive 24hr convenience store offering the CHEAPEST GAS AND DIESEL IN CALIFORNIA! (Seriously!!) We stayed on lot 27 and it was a meticulous premium lot (best we have ever seen) with tons of grass, landscaping & privacy. This site pad was 16ft wide & 65ft long with a massive 14ft diameter patio area equipped with a picnic table, a patio set with 4 chairs, a love seat with end table and a table style propane campfire. We didn’t...
