I only recommend them if you're okay with having your money stolen. My daughter went to the kids class for part of October 2024 and the full month of November. We mostly left because they're so overwhelmed that they never noticed (or chose to ignore) another little boy running around, not listening, and putting his hands on other little kids (not the things they're learning in class, more like Indian burns and just getting in their faces or grabbing them). He hurt my daughter in class, and she held it together until we got to the car before letting tears fill her eyes and letting us know she wasn't enjoying this class anymore, so we, of course, never made her go back and let them know she would not be attending anymore. I was at work the first time she went, so my husband originally signed her up. Once we left, they continued charging our card each month. My husband doesn't remember signing anything agreeing to automatic bank draft, so when I asked them to cancel our monthly charges, I also requested a copy of anything that was signed agreeing to monthly withdrawals, but they have yet to provide anything. They also continued charging our card each month through the month of May 2025, even though they assured us every month that it was being fixed and would no longer be charged, as well as assuring us that they were working on refunding our card. It's now mid-July, and they still owe us 6 months worth of payments that were fraudulently charged to our card (December-May) and have become unreachable. We sent them a certified letter requesting contact to find a solution more than 30 days ago, and are still receiving the silent treatment. I have gone to this gym for over 2 years. During most of that time I loved this gym. Had everything I needed, 24/7, close to home, and inexpensive compared to other gyms. Recently though, the gym has an entirely new look. It now goes by a different name with different ownership I’m guessing. Half the gym is now for martial arts, something I am not interested in at all and really takes away from the gym for me. The equipment now seems so close together and the layout is weird. I don’t want to rub elbows with the guy next to me during my workout. There’s at least double the staff there now, yet somehow the weights are always everywhere and the kids working are sitting playing on their phone The crowd is different there too now, mostly martial arts kids I’m guessing. I was never notified that these changes were going to take place, or offered a refund for the gym becoming something completely different. I have switched to optimal, even though my membership at 180, or “rogue” now, expires in 4 months. I’m loving optimal so far and would highly recommend if you are more serious about working out. I was hesitant to try out this gym because of reviews that were given from the previous gym name and gym owners !! I’m so glad we didn’t listen to the reviews because this new gym and new owner are top notch! Real genuine guy who takes pride in his gym and keeps it clean! I was working out at home and was really limited in what i could so i’m really glad i took the chance! I’ve been working out for a solid two weeks here and it took me about 30 minutes getting comfortable with everything! Some gyms take quite a while to get comfortable idk why but not here! It’s great seeing people who are focused on their gym goals and not standing in front of the mirror checking themselves out. Lol 🥴😂There is a great age range and not too many people at 5/6am. A lot of brand new equipment and I have not had any issues with using them. Also plenty of dumbbells to go around so you’re not waiting.
