In all my years of being a Mexican-American , I have never had chile rellenos smothered in melted white american cheese. Not to mention my disappointment that the chips were not freshly made, The rice had no flavor and was dry and crumbly instead of fluffy, surprisingly the best things I had was the fresh salsa and the refried beans. I don’t know if you’re accommodating our food to suit the non-Hispanics in the area but this was a disgrace to our heritage and yes, Im taking it there. I have lived in OK for four years and I am struggling to find a decent Mexican restaurant to serve authentic Mexican food. My poor husband had to suffer through eating the nachos. How do you ruin nachos? I’m just trying to wrap my brain around the fact that I can’t just go out to eat at an authentic Mexican establishment because I have yet to find one here. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the plate that I received yesterday so that I can show the example of what the plate should actually look like which I’m going to attach a screenshot from Google to show What my meal should have looked like. I can promise that I will never eat here again…. you couldn’t pay me to come back. I’m highly disappointed. I’m sure this is going to seem like I’m coming off harsh to some people, but I can assure you as a Mexican American my taste buds have never been so disrespected in my life. And for those of you saying that this food is amazing you would not know what to do if you actually tasted amazing Mexican food because I don’t know what this is, but there was nothing authentic about it now maybe it’s because I’m a West Coast Hispanic and we actually eat authentic Mexican food we don’t Smother our food in queso where I come from, so authentic is a...

This is my first review ever on a restaurant but my experience was so unpleasant that I had to say something. The only reason this place gets a star is because of our server. He was so friendly. However, the food had no flavor & the hostess was the absolute rudest person I have ever encountered. She sat us at the table and asked what we'd like to drink. My husband said "I'm not sure. I do not have a drink menu" so she gave him one. He then asked if they had a certain Mexican beer on tap. She told him they only had coors and bud. He just casually said "oh gross" (in a joking way) and was getting ready to order a dosequis in a bottle when she said "if you don't like what we serve than you can go to another restaurant". He replied with "huh?" as we were genuinely shocked at her response. She then looked at us and said "he's been rude since he walked into the door. He can go somewhere else" 😮 Seriously, that was the 1st time he'd even spoke to anyone in the 20mins we waited for a table. It's been an hour and we are still in shock by this woman's behavior. The food had no flavor . I actually put salt and pepper on my fajitas to try and help it but I couldn't eat it. I also couldn't even drink half of my margarita because it tasted like straight mix from a bottle . Again, I will say that the server himself...

First the pros: The server was fairly friendly and was always quick to check on us to see if we needed any drink refills and such. There was plenty of parking and we were seated pretty quickly. The atmosphere was nice, it wasn't too loud or crowded. The food was hot when it got to us. The pricing on food wasn't too bad either.

Now for the cons: For as empty as it was, the food took awhile to even get to our table. I ate the shrimp enchiladas and not only did the shrimp taste like it was already bad, the tortillas they came wrapped in tasted rancid or stale as well. I seriously wondered if there may have been mold hidden underneath the queso covering the enchiladas because it tasted that bad. My friend didn't have any problems with her food, but my food tasted terrible, the best tasting part of the entire dish was the rice. I don't know whether they just got a bad batch of shrimp and tortillas or if they knew that it had already gone bad, but I hope this isn't a frequent thing. This was my first time coming here and I'm honestly not very impressed. After eating there today, it's sent me to the bathroom just as much as a trip to Taco Bell does.

The only reason I gave this a 3 star instead of 1 or 2 stars is because my friend didn't have a problem with her food and the...

We happen to be working right by this place so… we went ahead and tried it. To start with the place did look inviting, far more than the other mexican joint next to it. But be careful. You know what the say, the grass may be greener on the other side but… looks can be deceiving. We went in and we were greeted politely. We were given a choice to either be at a table or bench. We choose a table. As soon as I ordered my drink I headed to the bathrooms, just to check them out and wash my hands. It is an only one person bathroom, so I waited. The bathrooms were okay I guess. Not bad. But I didn’t like the dungee dark hall way to it. Why so much attention to the bathrooms you may wonder, well they determine my level of trust and hygiene of the rest of the place; including food. It says a lot about a restaurant. Was I wrong to say that? Nope! The salsa bowl had old cheese stuck to it. That grossed me out a bit. I ordered the Tacos al Pastor. They were not presentable. The meat was cold. Its supposed to have a marinated flavor but it was bland. Rice and beans as typical but I was already disappointed with the old cheese stuck to my bowl that now I was eyes wide open to see if my food was clean. The menu was also big! Too many things to offer. The lunch menu was hidden at the end of the menu page 155 (just joking). Recommendations: While I appreciated that the staff speaks spanish, I myself speak spanish and I could understand the foul language between the old lady (I don’t know what her job was, she just walked around with her foul language) and one of the waiters, thats just wrong. Would I come back? No. Maybe. Would I go for the place next door, you betcha! ¡No! El tazón de salsa tenía queso viejo pegado. Eso me asustó un poco. Pedí los Tacos al Pastor. No estaban presentables. No, quizás. ¡Iría por el lugar de al lado, te lo apuesto!

The food is really good. The service is ok. Our server disappeared several times, and we ran out of chips and drinks. When he returned with chips, he just had a few in the basket, and we still had half a bowl of queso to eat. We had to wait until he reappeared again to ask for more chips. As far as the atmosphere is concerned, they have recently renovated, and they have all new tables, chairs, and booths. It looks really nice. One thing we didn't like is that whatever cleaner they use to disinfect the dining area is major strong! When you're trying to eat and they are cleaning tables and floors, the cleaner is so strong that it plays with the taste of your food when you breathe in.
