The Dress Shop — Local services in Owatonna

Thought this store looked so cute from the road so I stopped in as a bride to be just to look around. From the second we walked into the door, the worker was extremely rude to us. Felt very judged almost as if I wasn’t good enough to be in there which is completely unreasonable. I would have possibly booked an appointment here but after the TERRIBLE service, I wouldn’t want them to profit thousands from me. I understand you need an appointment to try things on- but because this is called a botique, I figured it was okay to come in and just look around at other items besides my wedding dress. If this store is appointment only, they should post that on the door....

I had so many amazing experiences here! First, I found my DREAM wedding dress in MY size off the rack, second, all my ladies were able to find bridesmaid dresses that fit them off the rack, and third and fourth, my personal attendant and 2 flower girls also found their dresses here, and YES, off the rack! I also love the atmosphere of the shop, and Kairie is amazing! She asked me to come back to show her pics when we get them, bc we were able to find everything from her shop. I will miss seeing her so often and going into her shop so often lol....

My daughter and her daughter had an appt with Marcia to look at wedding and bridesmaid dresses. She explained to Marcia what she was looking for, but Marcia kept bringing out dresses that were far from the style desired. What disturbs my daughter and me the most is the foul language used by Marcia in the presence of not only adults but an impressively inquisitive 8 year old girl. This type of behavior is not acceptable or professional in any type of public service. I’m happy to read the good reviews printed. Unfortunately...
