My granddaughter and I were on an adventure in the area today. We found this most delicious fresh candy shop and a wonderful kind caring shop keeper who when I asked about the history, was well informed and we so enjoyed hearing about it. We requested a gift box and were encouraged to choose the individual pieces that we felt the recipient would enjoy the most as well as chocolates for ourselves. The gift was a big hit! The flavors were wonderfully delicious and unique. We thank you for taking time with us today. We wish the wonderful family who acquired this business and made it their own much success. My friend and I visited this little piece of heaven on a Thursday morning. This was our first time entering this chocolate shop and we were greeted by Jodi. She was so welcoming and very knowledgeable. We asked questions and she gave us answers. She shared with us the history of Costas Chocolates. I think we visited for almost an hour. My family and I are really going to miss the restaurant after going there for breakfast over the last 50 plus years. My mom, Marcy Randall worked there as a teenager in1950’s and has loved eating there ever since. She still tells us stories of the past every time we come home from Texas.
