I have been collecting cards since I could start buying them myself. To watch and catch the puerto rican that stole them. They were booked at approx 2500. Today I would be lucky if they were worth say 500. Looking back the last 20 years is a handful maybe five guys that bring value to a baseball card or football card. Took me many years to start collecting again and I have been for the last five. I went in with a bunch of numbers parallels rookies autographs Etc hot Red Sox rookies Devers benintendi Bogaerts Mookie Betts. My point is I was made a fool in the store in front of the customers and at the same time two cards I'm missing. It's ironic it was in Albert Pujols Relic patch Gypsy card that he acted like he was enthused in. It was a distraction because at the same time another man approached me or got close to me and I almost seen out of the corner of my eye the two Minnie's disappear. I didn't see him go into his pocket or his coat or wherever you threw them. I was just taken advantage of petty stuff I didn't want thousands of dollars for my cards I just said I keep my Cowboys and Yankees. Don't get me wrong I still have my other favorites like Anthony Rizzo Joey Votto Didi Gregorius period for me to part with those yeah I'd want top dollar because those are my favorites. So now thinking back why was he being so rude and not even wanting to look at any of my cards. And that's what hobby shops do is buy and sell used cards. I already gave him a hundred percent commission on every card I gave him but he didn't get to that chance he blew it and I don't even know what I was doing in there the second time after what happened the first time. I opened a Carson Wentz three out of five autograph and patch. Ask Dickie to put it on eBay for me in the minimum I would take would be 130. Looking at eBay all night the card was never posted. I was nervous and receive no phone call back and went to the store myself. Dickie said your card sold I said great how much did you get for it? He told me $130 great keep yourself $30 for selling it and I'll take the hundred nevermind I paid 15 for the pack. But it's a very small world ran into a Cowboys fan we were talking cards. So I mentioned DJ's store where I opened it and also sold it and he explained that he bought that same card for $200 double what I had received that's a hundred percent profit. And then I was treated like a ragdoll because all I flip cards that's all he does all day is open cards then he takes the autographs out of the ones of the boxes so there's none in them then he puts them on the shelf for sale because there are no autographs left. He should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. I would love to take a look at his books and what has he really sold and what has he really bought. My Carson Wentz never made it to eBay because one gentleman that had two out of the five was asking $450. My point is you live and learn I was trying to recoup some of the money that I've spent the last 5 years but he don't take care of his customers he takes care...
