Someone at Holding Hands is taking it down the Goodwill route. For years and years HH has been my favorite thrift shop, with a constantly rotating stock at good prices. The past few months however the prices have gotten higher and higher. $75 for a film camera that goes for $30 on eBay, $40 for a set of cheap food canisters from the '90s that sat on the shelf for weeks and weeks and weeks. It used to be hard for me to walk out of Holding Hands without spending money, but now I only buy an item once maybe every five or six trips. Staff is still friendly, there are still occasional bargains to be found, but without some changes Holding Hands will turn into just another Salvation Army...
