Centerpoint Mall — Local services in Oxnard

Drove an hour an a half to this mall in response to a facebook add.The add was for a printer/plotter that was for sale after meeting with the person tasked with selling the printer for someone else.I agreed to purchase this printer which i wad told had been used only a couple times and that it came with the nessesary software to run it. After giving this person 1500 dollars for a downpayment twords the 3000 asking price another 1700 for the balance would be givin to the delivery person which included 200 for said delivery on the sunday that followed.When the printer arrived it was unloaded carefully and the delivery person was given the balance.When i started opening the crate there was no software to operate the machine just used ink cartridges. I called the person i dealt with and she told me that all sales are final and it was as is sale.upon opening the printer covers to assess the machine for any service it needed i was completly floored by the condition of the machines components that had remained hidden under the packing materials that covered it.The machine was not used slightly or a couple times as i was assured...it was completely destroyed. When i contacted the person again to seek any recourse I was told that they didnt know anything about that and it wasnt there problem. So the printer i desperatly tryd to get into working order, on top of 3000 dollars i paid needed almost everything replaced and or serviced just so i could feel like i wasnt screwing someone else because i had to sell it, that was gonna cost me another 5300 dollars. I purposly ommitted the business name and the name of the bussiness owner cuz i have the foolish notion that honesty still exsists at some level...But for myself it is truly fading,and I hope someone else who is selling an item that they know is worthless but sells it anyway may think twice about how much ruin they cause in taking anothers hard...

At the moment theres a few stores of clothing from cowboy, to casual. Theres some jewelry shops and a cologne and perfume shop. There is also and a with cultural shop more like native american theme with necklaces with paintings for sale. The main attraction here is the food from Mexican food and juices to Chinese that is hot and ready or you can get it freshly made. Opened around 10 but have all the food ready by 10:30 prices range from $5 to $10 for both food places and their menus. There's also an ice cream shop next to the food joints so you can't miss it. Great place to grab food with out long lines and a great place for new bussines there's at least 10 open spaces to set up a shop which i really...

I find it awkward that I can't walk right up to a door that opens up to Walmart. I feel like they should have some kind of security patrolling. On numerous occassions I've had to deal with persons on drugs hanging out in that long walkway up to the door of the mall entrance. Definitely puts you on alert. As for the store, it's always busy but always stocked/being stocked with merchandise. Cashiers are approachable but it feels like they really don't want to be there. Smile people, nd be alert of your surroundings. You're the face of the store and the first line of security. Show you realize how lucky you are to be employed in this economy. You are the customer...
