The Reason it's Named that, is because These Particular stores have Everything from Fully Stocked Grocery Items that are Fresh and That Word Everyone likes"Cheap" To Full Automotive Repair with a large inventory of in Store Auto parts As Well as Automotive & Marine Batteries and Most Name Brand Tires that are much Cheaper from Walmart If You Order them from the Walmart Online Automotive App ? I'm going to Give You a Good Example of what I'm talking about ? Back in (2021) I Ordered (4 / 70R16 230CooperTires From Walmart ? The Normal Price For These Mud & Snow Cooper Tires Anywhere Else like "Pep boys" and American Tire Company both here In Oxnard CA ? Wanted Way to much money? American Tire, quoted me ($1.800 for the Tires and With That Price which was ($169.00) Per Tire, Then They were going to Charge Me for the New Mounting and Balancing As well ? Which is Crazy because Most Automotive Repair Services Will Give you the Cost of Balancing and Mounting for Free & Pep boys wanted ($129.00 Each, Which Came out to ($516 Plus $ 81 tax Total Tire Cost : $597.00 & I wanted A New Set of "Monroe Shock's for My (1998Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Store Manager for Pep boys in Ventura Wanted to Charge Me for the New Cooper Tires and Monroe Shock's Which was ($597 for the New Tires and the Monroe Shock's Were ($29.95 Per Shock) Which is another ($147.00 W / Tax Which Totaled ($744.00) Which I Thought Was a good price ? Until the manager Told me that it would Cost me Another ($400.00) for Installing the New Shocks and Tires ($1144.00) and I Said No Way ? I get to This Super Walmart Store in Oxnard and Manager in the Automotive Section Inside the This Walmart Store After Talking to him for a Couple of minutes, Says to me That The "Cooper Tires I Want Are Not In Stock? Which Bummed Me out for a few Seconds before He Says to me, Sir I'm going to Share a In Store Secret with You If Your Still interested in Buying Your New Cooper 70R16235 Mud & Snow Tires from Us here at Walmart and I say That it depends on the price of the New Tires and the Monroe Shocks That I want & He tells me that I Can SAVE 66% OFF the Total Cost of both Tires & Shocks Using the New Online mobile app and Your Not Going to believe this Price ? My 4 Cooper Tires Cost me ($38.00 w / tax Per Tire x 4 = $152.00 total And the Same Monroe Shock's were ($19.95 Each Which Came out to ($76.80) Total Amount for Tires and Monroe Shock's? ($ 222.80) and Walmart Installed the New Shocks and Mounted and Balanced the New Tires for $7.95 Per Tire x4 =($30. 80/100 Total Price For Everything was ($253.80 ) and here's the Rest of my Story about the Super Walmart Store Located on Gonzalez Street and Rose Ave in Oxnard CA Also Has At the same location 29 Other Name Brand Stores and I think Eight Different types of Restaurants and Fast food places to Choose from ? I have been a customer since Walmart came to my city and have always been welcome in the stores on my mobility scooter's. I got a new mobility scooter about two years ago and the only time I ever was stopped was the first week I got it. I drove my new scooter in the front door just like always, I proceeded to the men's clothing and stopped to pick a belt, I was not really paying attention and when I turned around the store manager was standing behind me, I thought I might have done something wrong but he started asking me questions about my scooter like how it was powered and such. Before we were done with our conversation there was a small crowd had gathered. Next thing I knew it, the manager asked if it would be okay if he could take a few photos and I said it fine and it seemed like the circle around me was getting larger with everyone taking pictures. Well I am sorry to say that the last time I drove into the store just like always the kind lady at the door said hi and I went to the toys to see if they had gotten any new hot wheels. So as I looking at the cars a couple of collectors came and we were talking about the stock that they had, we were interrupted by the Assistant Manager telling me that I had to leave the store because he I was taking up too space and it was not a mobility scooter and it was his opinion it was a motorcycle. Well it took everything I had in me not to get angry because it was obvious to me that he was just trying to throw his authority around. So needless to say, I told him that I really didn't care what he said, I was given permission by the manager that I will abide by his rule when he talked to the store manager about it. Well my family and friends have expressed their concerns about the situation and I shouldn't go back. So I don't think I will be shopping at any store that does not take into consideration why I was riding a scooter to start with. At any rate I will be shopping elsewhere from now on and I will be telling all my friends and family and I doubt that any of them will be shopping at the Oxnard store unless I am permitted to use my own mobility scooter at the Oxnard store again.
