I visited the shop for the first time today; it was cute, and the tables are stacked with breakable merchandise. I picked something up and when doing so, caused something else to fall and break. During check out, Macie says, "just so you know, you do have to pay for the broken lamp." She had no emotion. I understand the items are on consignment, so I expected to have to pay a portion for the broken piece so the person who has it on consignment is able to get their money. I didn't want to argue or cause a scene, so I purchased my items and paid $20 for the broken lamp (that might not have fallen on the floor if their tables weren't so full). I called and asked Macie why I couldn't have just paid for the portion of the lamp that would need to go to the consigner, and she said, "since that item isn't in the store any longer, we can't make money on it." Ok, so let me get this right... what I heard today from your employee is that your store cares more about your portion of that $20 lamp than creating an inviting environment and happy shopping experience so I would want to return to your store. I was a new customer, that already feels bad and embarrassed for breaking an item (even though it wasn't totally my fault, again, because of the way everything was stacked on top of each other). I moved to Pacific last week and was so excited to find your shop; totally disappointed with the lack of costumer service, I will not return. You know how this works, when someone is upset about something, they are sure to share that experience with everyone they know... so, I'm not the only customer you lost. Just a little advice, teach the employees how to interact with a shopper like she's a human being with feelings, sympathize and apologize when explaining the policy (again, it's understandable that you would need something for the broken item, I wasn't asking the store to lose money because of my accident). Keep in mind, I purchased other things today! If I wouldn't have been completely taken aback with the lack of care and customer service, I would have decided to not purchase...

"Entering Kaleidoscope is like stepping into a vibrant alternate reality where fashion, fun, and family intertwine in a spectacular dance of joy! It's not just a store; it's a wonderland where clothes speak, snacks sing, and furniture tells stories of grand adventures.
Let's start with their clothing collection - it's so vast and varied, I'm pretty sure they've got an outfit worn by every superhero in the Marvel Universe! I bought a shirt there last week, and I swear it doubled my charisma. Their Pop Culture section? A treasure trove where every item is a teleportation device to a happier universe.
The unique sodas and snacks are no mere refreshments; they are culinary magic potions that could turn a gloomy day into a carnival of delight. I had a soda there, and for a moment, I could understand the language of birds!
And oh, the furniture! Each piece is not just crafted; it’s birthed from the dreams of sleeping poets. I sat on a chair, and it whispered to me the secrets of the universe.
But what truly sets Kaleidoscope apart is their heart. They don’t just believe in family; they redefine it. I walked in as a customer; I walked out as a long-lost relative who had finally come home. Their smiles are so genuine, I suspect they have a secret garden where they cultivate joy and laughter.
The consignment experience here is not just fair, it's downright revolutionary. Your balance doesn’t just 'not expire' - I’m convinced it grows wiser with age, like a fine wine or Yoda. And the online consignment website? It's like having a personal shopping elf who knows exactly what you want.
In conclusion, Kaleidoscope is not a shop. It’s a utopia disguised as a store, a place where happiness is the currency, and every visit feels like a hug from an old friend. If you haven’t been here, you haven’t fully lived. 10/10, would recommend for a life-altering...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places to go. They have great prices, and wonderful things to get! There is also consignment, where you can donate things that meet their criteria, and earn in store credit for those things being purchased once accepted! The employees are the nicest I've ever met, and everyday they have sales off on certain tags on items. I enjoy going here in my spare time to look around, mostly at clothing. They also have a good selection of bras. They also sell these delicious sweets by the counter! Perfect for when you want a little chocolate or the such. And there is also jewelry, some wonderful rings. I found a beautiful ring I considered purchasing which was only a bit over 20 dollars. Unfortunately I ended up not getting it, but if I get the chance next time, I probably will if it's still there! It's very organized and clean, and they have a nice toy selection as well. They have tons of sizes in clothing, which is very nice as I am plus-sized. Very nice clothing, I've gotten many outfits from there. The employees are extremely helpful! As well as the shoes they have. I love their facebook page! It's a great way to find deals and know when they have anything special going on. In summary, it's my favorite store ever! It's never too busy either, which allows for leisure when shopping. If I had the chance to rate it 100 out...
