A just a damn fine burger joint!
This spot is a little bit more than your basic Burger Bar. Their beef is raised locally at Crooked Creek cattle! And I didn't get a chance to ask about the bacon but the bacon tastes like it is Farm Fresh too! I wish my pics had smellovision just you could experience how delicious the bacon smells mixed with the fried burgers!
You are going to spend about $12 to $14 per burger here but the quality that you get far excels that price and is a steal when you are being treated to Gourmet Burgers such as these!
When you go make sure to bring your patience as they are super busy because of their great quality food. They have about 10 tables inside and when we were there every table was full with happy burger eaters.
We cannot wait to go back during the summer months when we can sit outside and maybe even see a train!
The surprise hidden treat on this menu was their touch of greek! Our side dish was an amazing cucumber based Greek salad. The hubs "House" burger even had a touch of feta cheese! The fries were crispy and delicious!
And the last treat we found was there pure cane sugar sodas! (Ski!)
If you are looking for something out of the ordinary and absolutely delicious this is definitely the place...

Many other products are locally sourced, including Excel soda products (they have Ski on their soda fountain!) Service was excellent and friendly, and the owner appeared to genuinely care about providing a high quality product.
Burgers are slightly more expensive than what you’d pay at McDonalds (12.99 for burger and fries), but much higher quality and more meat. Definitely a good value for the quality!
For the train fans, the rear patio is feet from the train tracks, with great views of both the UP and BNSF main lines. If you were any closer to the tracks you would be trespassing! Would be a great spot to hang out, eat a burger and watch...
Read moreMost people are raving about the burgers. I thought I would bring another perspective to the table.
I ordered the Cod Fish and Chips. It was on special and under $10.00. Prices may vary if you order a drink or large fries.
The tartar sauce is "house made," and is an excellent condiment. The owner should bottle this and sell it if he hasn't already done so.
Cod was very tasty and cooked to order. The fries were good and tasted like they were from fresh-cut potatoes. My only suggestion is to use less salt on the fries. Customers can always add more salt if they want or need it.
I had a window seat next to the train tracks. For any roadies traveling on Route 66, the burger bar is just a block or two off the Mother Road and well worth the...
