Buyers Beware... Especially Senior Citizens With Health Issues. Purchased a GE Washer on 11/21/2024 $299.00 for additional laundry expected over the holidays and the very first time we ran it empty to be sure it would work properly 12/16/2024 we woke up 12/17/2024 to it making a loud horrible sound so we unplugged immediately and called Son Of A Doodle hoping they could send someone per their 30 day guarantee. To save the $6000 delivery fee from Palatka to Pomona Park, my husband picked up the unit and was helped by friends unload it and install as he was recovering from spinal surgery and owning our own business for more than 40 years, know how important FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES and there is always room to satisfy customers when circumstances are known from day one. As a senior citizen homebound for more than 10 years, I was put in a terrible position by SOAD since they would not bend the slightest with their warranty conditions so I had to have Sears Home Services come out on 12/21/2024 to the tune of $404.60 and instructions that this particular model is known to having issues and due to it's age, should have been retired...not resold. Lesson Learned But Costly $703.60 and it may work for another 30 days if we're lucky. Scrap...

Purchased Feb 21st, there is only a 30 day warranty, I do understand I was a little past but this I would expect it to last past 2 months, Do not buy a washer from here, was sold one that we bought 2 months ago and it is completely junk, must've been a temporary repair on it, it started making awful noises during cycle and has leaked oil and water and damaged our floors, not to mention when I got it home and looked where the lip of the drum and crevices were it was absolutely disgusting with animal fur, I let that slide and just cleaned it but now this just tops it off. BEWARE of buying appliances. Do not reccomend. Very disappointed and a waste of someone's hard earned money for $250. Edit: they did offer to fix if I BUY the parts it needed, nobody knows how much that would be, looks like the motor was burning up, so therefore parts would be a bit ridiculous if the motor is shot. I bought a used washing machine and dryer from this small business owner and the service was outstanding. The Staff was very professional, the quality of the washer and dryer was outstanding. I had mine delivered and set up by the owner himself and again, everything was perfect. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a good, quality used appliance or a beautiful piece of furniture to add to your home. Very happy....
