Would give them a 0 if I could ! I took my dog, Chulo, in for grooming earlier today. He was perfectly fine when I dropped him off, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I picked him up, I was shocked to see his haircut — it looked rushed and uneven, almost like his fur had just been chopped off without any real care or attention to detail.
Worse, I noticed irritation on the back of his legs and around his bum that looked like razor burn. I brought it up to the staff, but instead of acknowledging the concern or offering any kind of solution, I was simply dismissed. I didn’t want to argue, but I left feeling frustrated.
Once we got home, Chulo wouldn’t stop scratching under his belly. When I checked, I found the skin there was red and inflamed — more razor burn. I called the groomer to express my concern, and I was told it was "just allergies," which Chulo doesn’t have. To be sure, I took him to the vet, who confirmed it was indeed razor burn, not an allergic reaction. I then called the groomer asking for refund which is only right due to not having a good haircut and coming home with razor burn . She said no . She just kept saying “I didn’t see anything . “No no no is not razor burn “ “is he ok” why ask if he’s okay and still deny me a refund . Lack of empathy and horrible customer service !!!!!
This was an upsetting experience for both me and my dog. I would never bring him back here and cannot recommend this grooming service to...
Read moreI really should have checked out reviews on Yelp. There is a dog(not my dog) bleeding on the cheeks.
The worst grooming place. Came back with front two paws bleeding. Never offered any kind of apology. They did drop off meds to put on. But when I called after seeing the bleeding,
I am utterly shocked to see how good the reviews are at this place.
If you really CARE and LOVE your dog. DO NOT take your dog(s) here. There’s a reason why they charge a bit less than other places. I would much rather spend extra $5-$10 to know that my dog is in safe hands.
And I’m not even gonna mention about...
Read moreThis was my first time grooming my dog here in Palisades Park. Me and my dog moved here from Philadelphia, and she’s been very anxious because of the new setting. She moves a lot when she’s with someone new and I know it must have been hard for her to sit still during the session.
But the lady here was so patient and kind to my dog. She called her by name when I walked in, bathed her, cut her hair, clipped her toe nails, and brushed her teeth. She is absolutely amazing so I tipped her extra $$$. Gotta support your locals, and gotta appreciate good work!!
Here’s some photos of me leaving my dog and coming back to see her. She...
