A Heavenly Foot Massage and Spa — Local services in Palm Beach Gardens

I gave it four star, due to my daughters good experience. I booked two 60 min Foot/upper body massage combo for my daughter and I for Mother’s Day. We were seated next to each other for the foot session and in the same room for the back massage. My daughter loved her foot/upper body massage. She said the therapist really took the time to massage and work on her tension area. Her therapist was Yamile. It was not the same experience for me. My foot massage felt rushed. My therapist left four times for a few minutes during the foot and the upper body massage. To get towels and hot stones. I thought it was weird, since my daughters therapist only left once to get the stones. And massaged my daughter the entire time. She actually spent more time with her than my masseur spent with me. I felt I did not get the full 60 or even 50 minutes. My massage felt rushed. When she massaged my upper back, her belly kept pushing down on my head and neck. This was not relaxing. It was uncomfortable. Especially, after I had written down in the paper work that I have neck issues. I guess none is read. I get full body massages. And Except for one time at a Spa in Miami Beach, this doesn’t usually happen. The place is clean, nice, smells great, and it’s quiet. The price is fair, if you get a good masseur. We wanted to book through class pass but showed that the booking slots were closed. We called the spa and they confirmed that they had an available spot and that we can pay with them even if we are using our class pass credits(note that we called back to make sure that we can do it like this).

We got there and were told we can’t pay with class pass. Then we had to pay for our massage-we decided to do a 30 min massage and not a 90min massage. 5min into our massage we got interrupted by a very unprofessional phone call from the manager/owner explaining that we need to pay the full amount for a 90min massage.

She rushed to the spa when we explained we aren’t going to pay more as she misinformed us about the class pass payment situation, as she arrived she immediately started shouting and acted out unnecessarily in stead of being a professional well mannered business owner. She walked off as we were trying to clear up the situation.

Receptionist was very friendly. At first the face, head and neck massage was very relaxing along with the arm and hand massage. Since I was laying on my back the massage therapist rub lotion on my legs and the top of my feet, never checking to see if the pressure was OK. It felt like he was just lotioning my legs and feet there was no massage or pressure added. He continuously rubbed the top of my feet, to a point where it was painful! There isn’t much to the top of my feet. He barely rubbed or massaged the bottom of my feet. I wanted and needed the bottom of my feet to be massaged, adding some deep pressure and holding pressure to the pressure points, none of that happened. When he got to the hot stones, he kept hitting both my ankle bones, causing pain. At the end of the massage he tried to crack or pop my neck and he also caused pain doing it incorrectly.
