If you are a person of color, this may not be the place for you and I am not one to throw the race card but I am not sure how else to perceive this. I have NEVER in my entire life had service that was so poor, it was disgusting actually My husband and I who are both black went in without reservations at about 7:05 pm on January 26, 2024. We went to the host stand and the host asked us if we had a reservation. We told her no we did not and she found a table inside. We preferred to be seated outside and so we asked for a table outside. We were told that a high top outside would be ready in 10 minutes so we opted for that. We went to the bar to sit and wait out the time, looked over the drink menu. The bartender who was perhaps the only quality staff at this establishment offered water while we browsed the menu. Within 2 minutes we got the call that our table was ready. We went to the host stand and we were led to our table. We sat there for almost half an hour: 7:14pm to 7:42pm and no one even acknowledged our presence. An older white couple came and sat at the table next to us. The server within what seemed like a minute, went over and asked them for their drink, brought out their drinks, took their food order and not even took a second to ask if we were being helped if that was not one of her assigned table. I would find it strange though as the tables were literally next to each other. My husband started to beckon to the server. She turned around with an annoyed look and so I told him no, leave her so I can see what she will do. She walked away without even asking if everything was ok, stood at the bar for a little bit and never once looked back in our direction. I observed for a few more minutes then went inside and politely asked for the manager. I escorted him outside to show him exactly what was happening here. He offered to make it up to us and we declined as I don’t want anyone’s free food or be their service recovery case. I told him we just wanted to point out the establishment’s horrible service and we left. Do yourselves a favor The Cooper, train your people to provide decent service to EVERYONE regardless of who they are! We will never return and will share this horrible experience with everyone we know so that they...

I hosted an event for my company’s end of the year holiday event, we had 30 people. Cheryl organized this for us and she made everything seamless, we originally were considering bimimi twist their sister restaurant but she said the copper would be better suited for our needs and she was totally right! Everyone the whole night was complimenting how perfect it was, it fit us all great and everyone had a wonderful time. They put two heaters out for us and everyone was warm the whole night. Alexa and Drew were our servers and every time someone showed up within minutes they were right there to take their order. They were both absolutely wonderful and I hope their manager sees this and lets them know how great they are and that they did a wonderful job. We all really appreciated their attentiveness and they were a huge reason our party went amazingly. Cheryl especially was a terrific help, she set everything up, was super responsive and went with all of our curve balls and changes with no complaints and just absolutely divinity. I cannot praise her and our servers enough. I only wish i saw there was apparently an additional line to tip more as I only saw they wrote in their own tip and was bummed because i wanted to tip above what they wrote. Food was amazing, everything was totally above and beyond. One thing I felt could’ve been better was our tables weren’t cleaned throughout the night so we were left with a lot of plates and clutter to work around but I understand it’s hard to navigate and know what’s dirty and what’s not with a party that large, other than that it was perfect. Thank you guys...

If your of a diverse group, make sure you go when "boston" the bartender is not working. Today we went to the cooper, as we always do, for a farewell brunch for a great friend who had been a weekly customer for over 7 years. While we had a fantastic time inside, outside was a different story. Our first outside bartender (short blonde) was fantastic, attentive, and made our time so much more enjoyable. Once they switched over, "boston" took over and refused to serve us water and food as we had to wait. After 30 minutes of waiting and only 3 other tables, he finally approaches us very rudely asking what do we want here. We asked for sliders and water and thanked him for serving (we were no longer drinking). After waiting for another 20 minutes we never got our water even when asked we were ignored. He then rudely approached us and stated that he doesn't know who we're are, but we need to keep it down (we were barely talking) and that no matter who we look around at or complain that we need to get our stuff and leave as he is done with us (we were spending over $300 on food and drinks). We were very taken aback and he rolled his eyes at us. We decided to leave. We called the manager and he brushed it off and stated that he must have had a bad day but he's been working there for 7 years and that he is right and we're wrong. We called again and they said they can't help us and not to comeback. We are so extremely sad about the racist comments and the way we were treated. We will be taking your advice and will be taking our...

Cheryl is back in the Commons!! I followed her to 3 restaurants now. I will happily go to any restaurant she manages. My most recent trip to Bimini Twist gave me the best news, Cheryl is now managing the Cooper too. I've been to the Cooper for work related events in the past but that was really it. The same folks who own Bimini bought the Cooper late last year. What's better, for me at least, they have Sunday brunch. My husband took advantage of their obscene Bloody Mary bar. The options to include in and on your glass are insane to include a quarter of a grilled cheese sammy. They use havarti!! Who doesn't like grilled cheese and tomato soup. I'm a Mimosa girl. They didn't leave me disappointed. I had my own Mimosa bar with several unique choices of juice and fruit. It was suggested that I try the passionfruit and pomegranate juice. Instant favourite. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and my husband ordered the Cooper burger. The Salmon was perfectly smoked, with capers, avocado, and a poached egg that spilled its velvety goodness. My husband was very happy with his burger and side of Cole slaw that he remarked was the best he's had. I had to try it. Cole slaw is generally not a side that gets a lot of focus. I had to admit that it was "pretty damn good." The wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly. They communicated well, provided timely service and really enhanced our overall dining experience. This is a new and improved Cooper. My husband and I will become a regular for Sunday brunch. The Cooper - Google Maps

We had a decent experience here for brunch once so we thought we’d head back for the summer prix fixe menu Our starters were good (especially the general Tso cauliflower!) with exception of the stale salad croutons Our mains came out, we had the surf and turf and the chicken The chicken was dry and nothing special The steak was bland and flavorless and was not a good cut of meat I wanted a drink handy before tasting the shrimp in case it followed suit After my food was cold I went to the bar but they would not serve me a drink because I was at a table. The water had an off taste so we opted for cocktails The drink experience wasn’t great either. Although the Pinit mock tail was good sangria with lime and lemon and cranberry aqua each had way too much citrus taste The service was ok although they mixed up our dishes for both courses and left us for about 35 minutes without drinks and the bar tender wouldn’t serve us We were about to leave when the server finally came by but at that point Cooper had already left our tastebuds less than satisfied. Headed to the in-laws for a proper meal. *first time I have ever walked out of a pre fixed menu not surprising they are not part of palm beach restaurant month

Not sure this is worth it? Our first night in Florida we were recommended this location and gave it a try. It was not our favorite and I’m not sure I would recommend it. The service was really the worst part about it. I feel like we were that table that constantly is forgotten about. The food was kind of bland and hardly flavorful from start to finish. We ordered a charcuterie board and our waitress did not bring us any bread or Cristini‘s even though it says on the menu that all charcuterie boards come with bread and Cristini‘s. She made us feel uncomfortable when we asked for her to bring bread and she brought five Cristini‘s for a table of six. Our waters were never refilled and it took about 25 to 30 minutes from the time we had finished to get our checks. Way too long. It probably was just a one time chance because the reviews on this location are really good but we must’ve just had a bad apple as a waitress because she really made our experience not great.
