The store saleswoman is very racist and prejudice, my friend and I were searching for a birthday gift for my mother so we were browsing the village, the saleswoman was an older white woman with platinum short hair she didn’t greet us so we began to browse the store, this woman (while on the phone) stayed 2 steps behind us the entire time, when she decided to speak to us she went on about how the store was “high end” and “on the more expensive side” the saleswoman referred us to try shopping in the plaza with tjmax and Ross because they are more affordable although we never discussed price range, after continuing to search the saleswoman became fed up with our presence and said “have a nice day ladies” directing us to leave the store although we were still shopping, after feeling unwelcome, judged, and profiled we began to leave and she follows behind and slams the door right behind us, after reading the previous reviews the owner should take more accountability for their employees because this lady represents you as a whole and no one should be experiencing this kind of behavior! Shopped here with family - bought several pieces of jewelry. Decided to return one item and they said you cannot do that. Clerk called the owner who Finally said it could be exchanged. Why would I exchange it (bracelet) for something I didn't want. There was NO SIGN in the store indicating YOU CANNOT RETURN OR EXCHANGE JEWELRY. All this is after the sales clerk told me to keep all the tags on the bracelet in case it needed to be returned. ONLY AFTER I HAD PAID, gotten home and read the fine print on my receipt did it indicate no return or exchange for jewelry as well as OTHER items. This is an upscale boutique that sells beautiful unique clothing, accessories, home decor, etc. The manager/sales person who helps me there is extremely patient, kind and professional. She, I believe her name is Lori, is an asset to this store and is always a pleasure. I bring my relatives from NJ to this boutique every year and they always look forward to it, including eating at one of the outdoor restaurants in European Village.
