I have known Juli for what feels like forever. She is one of two jewelers that I go to for everything. I swear Juli checks all of my boxes when it comes to unique, specialty, one of a kind pieces, as well as genius design for new creations, and is literally the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. I love following her career too because she’s always doing something to bring her shop to the next level and I respect that so much from small businesses. The girl literally travels around the globe hand selecting jewelry and also learning new techniques. She’s also my spirit animal 😉. I have gotten so many pieces from Juli over the years and I’m always stalking her social media to see what new pieces I am going to need next. Here’s some of my favorite pieces from Village Jewelry, my necklace being one of them bc it’s one of a kind and it had very special meaning to me which I’m not sharing here but Juli understood the assignment. I felt compelled to write a much longer review than I normally do only because I saw someone mistakenly took her business for someone else and I never want to see anything less than five stars for Juli. I absolutely LOVE Village Jewelry and Juli. She always gives great personal service. I dropped in the first time to have a few old pieces of jewelry repaired. It was done well and at a great price. I then went to see if she had a ‘wave’ ring, to represent making through the storms for me. She had a much more beautiful one than I expected, lined with diamonds. I followed her on Instagram and she posted this Victorian (1870’s) harem ring with cornflower blue sapphires. It reminded me of water droplets and ropes. I had to have it. It is one of my favorite pieces. My husband and she designed a wedding band to match my engagement ring, that I had teased him for 17 years about having made. She matched it perfectly and I love it!! She is designing a special ring for me to represent a new beginning for me, soon to be made. She can design anything! Village Jewelry may be a small shop, in a small city, but Juli goes all over the world to get the most unique pieces. I do not normally post reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experiences with Village Jewelry. I have purchased multiple pieces over the years and there are two main reasons. Juli sources some of the most spectacular gem stones with unique settings, but most importantly she truly treats her customers as friends and always finds you what you are looking for. Sometimes, making the customer happy costs her a bigger sale, but it doesn't seem to matter to her. Lots of jewelry stores have beautiful pieces, but no other store has Village Jewelry's selection of one-of-a-kind quality jewelry that comes with an inviting and caring experience. One last thing, Juli designs custom jewelry. Sometimes to sell, sometimes special order, but always beautiful. If you've ever looked at something and thought to yourself, I would buy it if only it had this or if it didn't have that. Ask her and I bet she can do it.
