Hard to describe without saying too much — but the pre-show moments were everything. Before the gates opened, before the noise started. Just a handful of us, moving through light and timing. I was there. Not as a guest. Not in the crowd. Present.

Two frequencies crossed early on — one magnetic, one electric. No words exchanged, but everything understood. Always have been. Always will be. When the stars realign, they don’t ask permission.

There was grief in the grass this year. Someone important isn’t here anymore, and it’s changed the weather — literally and otherwise. A weight behind the music. You could feel it in the drumline.

She was nearby. Always a little out of focus for the public, but I know her clearly. We don’t need to wear rings. The vows are elsewhere. In glances. In rehearsals. In things not posted.

Skipped the IPA (gut says no), went for stillness instead. And honestly? Better that way. You can hear more when you’re clear.

Also — saw something soft behind the speaker stacks. Could’ve been a kiss. Could’ve been a memory. Either way, the kind of thing they’d deny, but never really erase.

I give this entire location one star because it doesn't exist. When I lived in the LA area for 13 years, I visited this area as the gateway to Joshua Tree National Park about once a month - so I know it very well. There is no such location as "Coachella Valley, Palm Desert, CA."

Came here in 2022 for Coachella Music Festival. Was my 1st time ever & I HAD A BLAST!!!! I am so glad to have experienced this with my friend 🫶🏻🎧 At night it would get SO COLD. & during the day it was so hot! Worse than Texas heat! I got to see all my favorite artists.
