Little Garden Imports — Local services in Palmdale

I drive between Palm Springs and the Bay Area several times a year, often taking this route when I want to bypass LA traffic. I'd seen this business for years, but they've always been closed when I've driven by, so I was excited that I'd be driving by when they were open this time.

I've been looking at metal garden art in particular for a few years, and while there's a bunch of places to buy this type of art, they always have a limited collection, and it's mostly imported from Mexico.

I was amazed at how expansive the collection of garden art they have here. Not just metal art, but also stone garden art. Sure, alot of it is imported, but they also make custom work.

After looking around for about 20 minutes, one of the people working there came up and introduced himself. We started talking about the art, he is one of the artists that makes the work on site. After talking, he proceeded to show me the gallery space where he is working to create some new, very high end pieces. Large sculptures of animals and figures that have so much detail and time and effort and talent put in to them. Works so amazing they look like they belong in a museum. Sure, these pieces are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Overall, I think that is what is one of the most amazing parts of this place. If you want garden art, especially southwest desert art, this is the place. There's something for every budget. Small pieces for a few dollars, metal art bigger than me for a few hundred, to museum quality pieces that will last many lifetimes for many tens...

Beyond words!!!! His sculptures, especially those with wings ( dragons, roosters, fruit bats, eagles, whimsical creatures, are AMAZING!) But most of all- his angelic beings... I recently stopped by his outdoor studio on a trip back from outside Lancaster to San Diego and even though the round trip would take over 7 hours, I would be willing to go back just to see his most recent creation " come to life. " She is a winged being, feminine, yet powerful . I was told She would be surrounded by flames- like a Phoenix rising. The overwhelming beauty of this Piece literally made me cry..... I love to go here and see all of the wonderful things that they have to offer. The life size metal artwork is amazing. This is true artistic talent. There are all kinds and varieties of statuary for your garden and yard and everything is well done at an affordable price.
