Shady. They won't give you close to an honest price on gold, buying or selling, it will be $100's under retail. It's a corporate outfit designed to rip you off. Maybe they are good with other deals, idk, but terrible with gold. Sell on market place, ebt, or back to an internet dealer. These places are there to rip off the local.
I returned to give them another shot. Keep in mind, I'm not the prettiest guy to walk in the store, but I'm kind and respectful. I felt Terra's hatred the minute she looked at me. I have a 5 star rating with Door Dash and have always had impeccable customer service skill and ratings. I was told at Sams Club, by a customer I found her wallet stuffed with cash, I was the only person ever to return her money to her and I was the best customer service rep she ever worked with. Made me feel good.
That said, Terra was the worst I'd ever been treated and it had nothing to do with price or the fact their machine will never register my pure gold, the same gold I sell frequently with other shops in the area. She cost me shipping and all kinds of problems not knowing how to test gold beyond her broken machine that can't pick up the fine gold thru the original packaging. I sent it back to Apmex for testing and also had it accepted at Dan's Pawn, a much better dealer.
I was hungry and needed to pawn 1g bar and she absolutely embarrassed me like I was some kind of street walker, it was terrible. I will spare you the details, she will lie anyway, I can tell, I'm a poker player. Horrible experience and I live just down the street and have been trading gold for many years.
Gold's at ATH and it hasn't been down in a year and she can't take a better look and check the other stores to see if I have a good history? Nope. I Had to go hungry another night to sell to Dan's, whom has a way of testing product the right way. Out of 40yrs of trading gold I'd never been treated remotely close to that bad. Terra is an A1 you know what. Just horrible service. I have moved gold in Vegas and the Mid West and always had good success with buying and selling. She will destroy their gold market and people like her will destroy the entire gold trade. It's pathetic to be treated with such hubris and disrespect. Where do they get...
Read moreI have never been insulted before like that. I decided to take a chance and visit this pawn shop after researching them on Google and learning that they also deal with jewelry. My intention was to pawn my watch for $3,000, keeping in mind that it retails for $4,900. However, when I showed it to the Korean employee at the counter, he inspected it for about five minutes and claimed it was a fake. I asked him to take another look, but he insisted it was a fake from Japan. I find it confusing that he would mistake an authentic Swiss-made watch for one from Japan. It is disappointing that a store advertising itself as dealing with jewelry does not train their employees to have knowledge in that area. As a result, I decided to go to David Adamson, who has over 45 years of experience in the jewelry industry. He authenticated my watch and gave me the money I was looking for. I would recommend not wasting your time taking your jewelry...
Read moreBe very careful here when purchasing firearms. Google their prices right there on your phone and I promise you'll go elsewhere. The good prices are old generation models. Example gen 3 (newest model) prices on older gen 1 models. The big bald guy acts very authoritative and answers all questions in a way designed to sell you thier stuff. Example. "Is this a good gun?" Reply "Sir..that's the best out there right now " Then you get home only to find horrible reviews on what you've purchased. Im glad Frank Mckeithan finally stepped down cause this guy thinks he's a cop and drops Frank's name like thier married. Very annoying. When they purchase from you..their internet is down all of a sudden so they can't get an accurate value, then they play dumb and low ball you to death. Just trust me avoid this place. I trusted them and paid dearly for it both in buying...
