Today, Sunday, 13 July, I went to Aldi to grab some stuff and I was at the milk fridge to grab a gallon of milk while I turn I’ve seen a a lady behind me and I thought she wanted a milk so I asked her if I can help her and she said no then she turned her face to the manager and I hear her saying what’s wrong with those people if I need something, I will grab it but respectfully for today I hold myself. The manager response said I would not hold myself. I will say something and they start giggling, so I boss for a minute to try to swallow what I hurt and try to lie to myself that it did not happen and I didn’t hear it but technically they keep talking and I bust to see how far they’re gonna go so because I didn’t wanna make a scene went to my son and I said Son I’m angry and that’s what happened and I don’t feel like finishing my shopping. My son respond said just let purchase what we have and we can leave and in my way going toward the cashiers went back to the manager and I said accuse me ma’am what’s your name and then she respond by saying for what I said I need to know your name and again she said why you need my name so anyway by me standing and saying, I need to know your name and not moving she end up, giving me a fake name so I took the name after asking her. Are you sure this is your name so while I was at the register, I asked the cashier about her and he said I’m not sure it could be Leticia I’m new so I said OK thank you and luckily for me the lady was behind the guy who are behind me so when I’m done while my son is putting the stuff in the Aldi bags I went to the lady and I said you are not a nice lady and then she looked at me and said why I said you know what she did and I walked away that was very unprofessional and very rude for it to happen at Aldi and I forgot to say I’m a Muslim I wear a head cover and they just couldn’t keep their comment to their self. Thank you. The assistant manager name Kalisha Store #81 Located at park row and Bowen...
Read moreThe rudeness of cashier Analisa during my visit was the worst service I have ever received at an Aldi's. She first birrated me for wanting to put the groceries in my reusable bag I came in with, stating it was for "safety concerns"?? Safety concerns on what im just trying to hurry up and load the bag up so that there was no need to use the cart she was using. Ok fine I stayed quiet, I paid. After getting my receipt from her and walking away from the cashier area to now annoyingly bag up my bag that would've been load during the time of checkout, she still continues to mouth off about living the cart in the. I stayed quiet as if I didn't already know to leave the cart as this isn't my first time shopping at Aldi's and I knew I didn't come in with a cart. Instead of ringing up her next customer Analisa still continue with "ma'am ma'am did u hear what I said"" first of all I'm not some child to be bullied in front of other customers and second I am a frequent shopper and know what I "need" to do as far as putting back at a cart or leaving in store. If a quarter was what she wanted I could've easily gotten a cart but didn't get that many groceries that actually fit in my xl bag. She continued again to call out to me like a child to remind me about leaving the cart, which yes I sure did pop off on her and told to shut up and to just do her job and ring the next customer and to leave me alone as I knew what was her "expectation" from me. As I was exiting just the front foye with cart which is where i was going to leave it, still in the store mind u, Annalise still continues to be rude and sarcastic about the damn cart in front now a half way full front register area. Very disappointing visit. There was no safety concerns bagging groceries into a bag during checkout. Happens in other grocery stores all the time. Her customer service skills were appalling and degrading to the Aldi brand at...
Read moreStopped by ALDI in Pantego, and as always, it was an experience. You know the drill—bring a quarter for the cart, bag your own groceries, and mentally prepare for the wild card aisle that somehow contains both high-end cookware and off-brand hiking boots.
The store itself? Solid. Stocked shelves, quick checkout, and that signature ALDI energy where you go in for milk and leave with a five-pound wheel of Gouda because the deals are just that good.
But let’s talk about Pantego for a second. Specifically, the Pantego Police Department. If you know, you know. This is the only department that seems to have a personal vendetta against people doing absolutely nothing. You could be parked legally, breathing at a normal rate, and they’ll still circle you like you just knocked over a bank.
I’m checking out, minding my own business, when I notice one of Pantego’s finest doing slow laps around the parking lot like he’s looking for a cart thief. What’s the emergency? Someone took their quarter deposit and didn’t return the cart? A rogue shopper double-bagged their groceries? Hard to say, but you best believe they...
