Shannon is a poor excuse for Postal Leadership, and under her supervision, I can see why the reviews about the lack of customer service are consistently anything but complimentary.
Sometime Last month, I received a delivery notification from FedEx. I had the delivery sent to my Postal Box at the Sunset Post Office. When I arrived at the Post Office two days later, I checked my box and didn't see the delivery, so I rang the doorbell for the Box service attendant. An older (60+ YO) African-American lady, who was not in uniform, opened the door. Because I was standing at the door and saw she needed to step out the door, I said, âGood morning, sorry, excuse me,â while stepping out of her way and without greeting me in return, she immediately said, âI can't help you, someone else will be right up.â I have no idea why a simple greeting was lost to her. I replied, âAll I said was Good morning.â This, to me, reflects a poor work environment in which this lady is so ready to be defensive that she can't even greet a customer that she isn't necessarily servicing.
Then someone else came to the window and tried to explain to me why my package could be delayed even though FedEx said it was delivered two days prior. Without arguing, I was directed to a supervisor. A Caucasian lady with a protruding beer belly talked aggressively and loudly toward customers I was completing the Passport process. This was the supervisor I was directed to.
After Shannon finished loudly speaking to passport applicants, she appeared to have a moment to spare. She walked over to me and I asked her about what my expectations should be regarding the delivery time from the Post Officeâs dock to my PO box. While attempting get my question out, I was interrupted several times with snarky comments. She stood approximately 3 feet away from but was so loud other people in the lobby were looking up to see what was happening. She finally answered my question, telling me that delivery from the Post Officeâs dock to my PO box, at the same location, could take up to two weeks.This was very hard to believe but she gave some very long and convoluted answer about the process. Before leaving I told her that I've had my PO box at this location for approximately one year and had never experienced a two week wait after receiving courier service delivery notification that my package was delivered to the post office dock. A couple of business days would seem more plausible.
I'll never forget this incident, it's one thing to have bad processes at work that are frustrating it's a completely different issue when you're known by customers to be rude and aggressive...
   Read moreOn 31st of May at 2pm I walked in to this location to get a new passport for my daughter. I was told by a clark that I should come tomorrow at 8am . Next day exactlty I arrived at 7:30am. But when the business opened , I was told by a black clark quote "PLEASE BE SEATED Ű please be seated you will be called next"!!« I was waiting for half and an hour and tried to verify with a black skinny young supervisor when she will call my name so that I take my daughter to the restroom. She rudely unprofessionay with hand gesture said" ""no, no im the supervisor not him , im the one who call the names. Your name im SURE wont be Called today !!."" When I talked to the clark why did he asked me im ok and on time at 8am ? He said "im sorry because she says no , I have to tell you No . He told me to come Next day . For the Third day I came and finally my daughter got passport with completely another nice manager . The rude supervisor on Monday June 4 th was off and I enjoyed a nice day with another nice clark . This is wasting money 24$ or 20$ an hour paid for government employees having zero tolerance for finding solution or custumer service. Each customer service only take 5 to 7 minutes no more. But they pretend they are making a rocket or and airplane. Why there is no body to correct their behaviours. I myself work on the strip and do a great customer service for atleast 3000 tourist a day for minimum wage . These rude crude , funky and frown faces behind computers maybe with no colledge education dont want to spend 7 minutes for just mailing and stamping passport forms ???????SHAME SHAME Again SHAME The black rude supervisor ( worked on Saturdays) think that if the fastest she speaks and turn her face right and left to ignore customers , the more professional she will looks ....

I went there to get my sons passport renewal done, I had them do the pictures thought it was convenience but be aware, there they took picture through a glass window I meant to say something but my wife told me not to, theyâre completely incompetent make sure you get your own picture done if you go there for a passport they know how to send an envelope to the passport bureau and thatâs about it.
I went back there to let a manager know about the issue not only that cause me stress because we are waiting for a passport now we are not sure that will get the passport on time but manager and other people working there were no help it took me about two hours to send a new picture out at their cost and get a reimbursement for the original picture taken, it was all good until they ask me for a receipt I cannot believe I thought they were joking after spending about an hour over there at that time, my wife had to look through the whole entire house to find a receipt they had already put my new picture inside of envelope ready to go after I told them I didnât have the receipt they unpacked everything give me back to picture and told me they couldnât do nothing without a receipt to come back when I get a receipt wow bunch of inconsiderate course thatâs because they have to follow the rules inside a book and I donât even have a manager over there able to authorize anything over maybe five cents stamp!
I hope this can help anyone that goes there for a passport I donât want this to happen to anyone else this is been the worst customer service...
