I would like to share my experience with NAPA and in particular the NAPA store in Paramount. I am the manager of Leo and Son Garage and as a company we have spent 10 of thousands of dollars with them in parts purchases over the years. We have had multiple issues with them standing behind their products they sell and that is why we do very little business with them to date. Today we had a Belt Tensioner Assembly fail that was purchased at Napa on February of 2017. The employees stated they could not warranty the product because they sold us a cheep "Belt Tensioner Assembly" that had only a one year warranty. They wanted to sell us another no name product that was 40% higher cost than all our other suppliers wanted to charge (my vendors only use name brand quality product lines they can stand behind). We don't use Napa as a vendor because they don't seem to care about the customer. Always looking for a loop hole seems to be the MO.
update It is sad when they give you a email address to better help them understand the concern and the email address does not do through. At least it appears...
Read moreI will admit I never been to a NAPA Auto Parts and didn't really think they had parts for my vehicle. The place I normally purchase parts for shipped me the wrong part once my vehicle was at my mechanic shop and disassembled on his rack we realized it and my parts supplier said that it would be almost seven days before they can get the correct part out. After a little research it was found at Napa Parts had them in stock but not my local store in Paramount but Ontario about 60 miles Northeast of Los Angeles. With the help of what I was told of the owner of the local store Not only was the part ordered it was delivered to my mechanic within a matter of hours this is outstanding service. I realize Napa may not carry a lot of parts for my car but I will definitely keep them at the top of my list I've never had dedication like this before so thank you Napa on Alondra for supplying the genuine Audi motor...
Read moreI was in a situation where I called nearly all auto parts store in a 10 mile radius and called all major hardware stores. It wasn’t until I called this NAPA and spoke with Jose, that I got somewhere with my search. I was looking for a specialty tool that even Amazon or Ebay DID NOT come up. It seriously had to be 20 mins and a few moments being on hold that Jose put me on, and polite while reassuring, that kept me hopeful. After thorough research that he did not have to do, that he was able to figure out that what I was looking for was manufacturer specific. My two days of constant researching versus a 20 minute conversation with Jose was all it took for me to be able to find what I needed.
