This used to be my favorite place to buy shoes.I deliberately drove 2 hours today to buy shoes. There only to be seriously disappointed. Not only is it no longer smelling like new shoes. It smells like an old sweaty gym locker and the Clearance area used to be on the main level. The upstairs was overstock which made all the shoes handicapped friendly. Now people who are elderly on walkers and wheelchairs on crutches, or use a cane cannot get to the clearance department. There are a few clearance things scattered around but most of it ninety percent of the clearance is upstairs not handicap accessible. It is more cluttered than it ever was and it smells dirty.
At this point I will not return to the store to shop if I'm going to have to go to a place that smells like an old gymlocker.I'll just drive to Jackson to the Regular Store and Pay Retail Because It's Not Worth the Stink Or not be able to get upstairs with my elderly mother Who is the reason I came up there to start with. I was extremely disappointed. My favorite shoe store has now become my least...
Read moreOMG love this store! We were looking for winter boots my mom saw the sign on the road and said let's go there. Found boots at retail for a hundred bucks and up for bargain-basement prices. Whenever I live over in the Paris area next year that will definitely be my go-to shoe store first before I go anywhere else looking for shoes. You have to sort through them because you may not find the exact ones you want is a size you need and you may have to find something different but for the money you save is worth being flexible. So absolutely love love love love love the store. And it don't smell like dirty feet like a lot of shoe stores do. I'm actually told my friends an hour away in Humboldt Tennessee to go there to look for shoes it's worth the drive. So yeah I'm bragging about the store and will definitely be shopping there again and I'm not too...

Bought a very rare pair of Altra running/trail shoes for $35, in an even rarer men's 13 EE (widest sole I have ever found...which is just barely wide enough for my foot, but the first official "good fit" shoe ever for me :)
They were the only pair of that kind, which is the case for most of the shoes... The boot selection upstairs has way more depth per style.
Very reasonable prices, friendly staff.
Very thankful to have tried Guinn's for...
