I honestly have to give credit to Tomorrow’s Hope for being a support in mine and my babies life. They have all become like family to me. They go above and beyond to help mommas in need, not just because but because they genuinely care. The thrift shop is phenomenal and I have been able to buy toys, clothes for my baby, furniture, and books (to help w parenting, business books, children’s books, you name it..) all at a reasonable price but sometimes as credit with thrift bucks. Their pregnancy clinic offers parenting classes, and pregnancy classes that has helped me out tremendously. Shout out to Toni from the clinic for being such a wonderful woman and friend to my little family. And Pam, Patricia and Missy for always bringing a smile to my face with their happy personalities. I’ve never met any staff that wasn’t friendly or that didn’t go above and beyond their duties. To be able to have that kind of establishment and warm hearted people in our community is a blessing. I highly recommend this store. And...
Read moreListen, I just bought 35 plates, 5 vases, 3 baskets, a serving bowl and some napkin rings for my wedding shower party and only spent $19.75!!!!! If you want FAIR prices, this is the place to go in Paris! I've purchased clothes from here that are great brands - Free People, Calvin Klein, Abercrombie, old navy and more. They have days where you can fill a bag up for $5. They do have some furniture, but I usually go for the clothes and kitchen stuff! Large kids section, books, electronics (if you need a cord, this is your spot) and board games. Not only is this the best thrift shop in Paris, but the people that work there are so kind and helpful! I've never had a bad experience with them. They're willing to negotiate within reason. My only complaint is that the parking is tough - its right on the road, so backing up is a doozy. I'm happy to handle it though! If you're a thrifter, add this place to your rotation. You won't be...
Read moreThe staff has always been kind to me at checkout; no one usually says anything when I come in or walk around, but that's perfectly fine with me (maybe it's a millennial thing, I like to shop without feeling awkwardly questioned when my mind is elsewhere). So, a pretty peaceful shopping experience, but expect an occasional kid playing hide-n-seek or a bickering couple. Oh well. Prices are the best I've seen anywhere in this area. At times, I wouldn't mind if the prices were a bit higher. If you don't have much money, they are usually able to accommodate or make a bargain. The variety of things you can find are usually vast, but lately they seem to be trying to keep the inventory/ donations that come in to move out quickly (thus the real low pricing?), so certain areas of the store aren't as plentiful of...
