Recently I've had two negative experiences at this store with the same associate, Kevin J. On August 24th, I came in with possible help needed on a new phone for a new line that I just opened. Luckily all I needed was stronger network signal to finish the set up myself. Sometimes signal at my house is a little weak even though I live in town. For some reason Kevin felt the need to say, "Good thing, because if you needed my help we'd have to charge you." A totally weird, unnecessary thing to even say in that moment. But whatever, I brushed it off. That's why I try to accomplish all my Verizon business through the app anyway. Now today, September 15th, I went to the store in an attempt to either exchange and/or return some accessories that my husband just purchased that morning. We don't have a usb-c wall adapter and he purchased two charges with the usb-c type wall end. I wanted to either swap a charger for an adapter or return both. Even before Kevin spoke I knew we'd have to un-do the multiple accessory discount, which shouldn't be a difficult thing. Kevin immediately starts informing me of what he can't do, and tells me that I'm asking him to do things that aren't allowed. I've never worked with a retail store who's made exchanges or returns so complicated. I was even willing to swap a 45 dollar item for a 35 dollar item and eat the difference. Does management not provide their staff with the right tools to make decisions or the right customer service training? Kevin started arguing with me. I said let's not. As he processed my return and handed me the receipt he started arguing again for some reason. I said, "I would recommend that you don't argue." He replied, "Just because you're the customer doesn't mean you're right." Number one - rude. Number two - what was he even talking about? I didn't like this store before Kevin, and I like it...
Read moreListen people, we know Park Falls, this is the only Verizon store. Don't go here. Walmart in Ashland had the same selection of phone plus a ton extra. These idiots said they couldn't sell me a phone and I keep my same number and plan because it doesn't make them enough money. Instead. I'd have to repay my plan and get a new number. Walmart in Ashland told me they're crazy and for $130 cheaper, I got a new phone that was better than my last and kept all my stuff. Plus they offered me a $10 cheaper plan with same talk and text and more data ($50 for talk text and 5gb data9. Let this cheapo store go out of...
Read moreI understand there is only one person working, which there should always be two, but I am no expert. When you have other customers waiting over an hour for help, you should be helping people as quickly and efficiently as you can. Not sit there and small talk and waste more time. I am a very patient person, but my patience wore thin today and I walked out. My phone does not work and I cannot even call customer service after trying to change my number because it will not work! Very poor...
