Beagle and Wolf Books & Bindery — Local services in Park Rapids

Despite frequently visiting Park Rapids, I hadn't been to Beagle and Wolf until this winter. If you're a bookworm, this place is a must visit when you're in the area. Their store is cozy and welcoming from the second you walk in. I had ordered a book for pick up in store and decided to have it shipped to my home after I submitted my order. I'm sure this was a pain to deal with, but if it was they didn't show it and they were very helpful in getting it sent to me. They had to order my book from a different supplier than usual so it took about two weeks to get to me (which really, I didn't mind!) For my trouble, they sent me a complimentary book. I was so impressed with their customer service and touched by their thoughtfulness. Although I don't live in the area, I'll be ordering my books from them from now on! Thanks...

My favorite bookstore in all of Minnesota. Everyone in my extended family has been going here for years! They have such excellent selection in-store. I’ve found everything here: the perfect children’s book for a birthday gift, an exciting new fantasy book, a new poetry collection, and even an old French play by Beaumarchais owned by someone in St. Paul in the 60s.

Their staff is so wonderful that I order all of my online purchases from them, too. But the store itself is a can’t-miss. It’s one of the loveliest, coziest places around.

Beagle and Wolf is a must stop! This is my favorite book store in Minnesota, and I make it a point to stop any time I'm in or going through Park Rapids. I wish I lived closer, but it's always a nice treat to stop. The store is well stocked and organized, really nice displays, it's clean, and has a great selection of both new and used books. The staff is always incredible - helpful if you have questions, and they are always ready to give you a good recommendation. I always end up having a nice conversation with anyone who is working.
