Kennedy Club Fitness in Paso Robles has become my go-to gym, offering a well-rounded fitness experience with excellent amenities. The gym is relatively new and provides a solid variety of group exercise classes and an ever-expanding free weight training area, catering to both seasoned athletes and those just beginning their fitness journeys. One of my favorite features is the Olympic-size pool, which hosts water aerobics classes and is complemented by racquetball courts that I frequently enjoy. While I appreciate the gym’s range of offerings, I do feel it might be time for a few updates in certain areas to bring the experience up to its full potential.
My wife and I have both noticed some areas that could use a little extra attention. For instance, my wife often mentions that the women’s locker rooms don’t quite meet the accommodations we’ve seen at other gyms, like Planet Fitness. I agree that there’s room for improvement, particularly in the steam room where the floors have become uncomfortably soft and feel like they’re due for replacement. Additionally, I really miss the rock climbing wall, which added a unique, engaging element to our workout routine. I’d love to see it make a comeback, as it’s a feature that set Kennedy Club apart from other local gyms.
Overall, I'm pleased with the gym and its offerings, but I believe a few thoughtful updates could make the experience even better, especially given the premium pricing that’s significantly higher than other gyms in Paso Robles. A couple of small changes could make a big difference—adding more 45-pound plates to the weight room, if needed, and a bathing suit spinner in the locker rooms would be much-appreciated upgrades for members who use the pool and steam room. Kennedy Club Fitness has a strong foundation; a few strategic improvements could truly elevate it to...
Read moreHorrible. The gym is ahh, okay, and could be cleaner most of the time. The equipment is dated and out of order a lot of the times I tried to use it. Eventually, I called to cancel my membership and was assured it was canceled over the phone. Sure enough, they started to charge again after a couple of months. After confronting them about the issue, they claimed to have sent me emails and confirmed that they have proof of me reading them and reinstating the membership... (another issue: I never consented to them tracking me as a CA resident, and never found the email in my inbox after an extensive...
Read moreI love this place, I go there to use the pools. The Atascadero location has a pool outside and another pool inside. The pool inside takes reservations, with a hot tub and co-ed steam room. And the outside pool is huge and has a hot tub as well with it's own showers right there. The Paso Robles location has an infinity pool and a hot tub as well. This location has separate steam rooms. The employees are all very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. As far as the rest of the gym, I couldn't tell you I only swim there, they also honor Military Veterans. I highly recommend...
