Overall disappointed. Ordered a breakfast burrito. It was supposed to be eggs, potato, ham and cheese. I assumed they would be quality ingredients and cooked separately. It ended up being shredded potatoes mixed in with watery eggs (not actually soggy but overly fluffy which is due to adding water, eggs lacked proper flavor and texture) and cooked in a log shape. Not appetizing. Then it was topped with deli ham and cheese wrapped in a dry tortilla. Lacked flavor and proper texture. Potatoes should have been cooked separately. With seasoning. Eggs should be pure eggs and cooked separately. Breakfast ham should be thick and cubed. Etc.
The portion size was fine but after about three bites, it was just gross and I couldn’t eat any more.
The kids running the place didn’t seem too enthused. The girl who took the order was lacking adequate customer service skills. In the middle of ordering, she paused to make one of the drinks and left the food order sitting on the counter. I had to ask her to finish the order and pay so the food could be started while the other drink was being made. I doubt any of the staff was over the age of 20, which could explain the lack of experience and general processes of running a bakery/deli . I was also overcharged for my second item but it didn’t seem worth bring up because of the unpleasant experience while ordering.
Not going back. Waste of a $25 (for two basic breakfast foods, and two coffees.) Honestly McDonalds has tastier and more quality breakfast foods. And I could have gotten a better breakfast at Mickey D’s for...
Read moreI always try to seek out locally owned businesses to patronize, so this place caught my eye.
First off the staff was super friendly and greeted me as I walked in. Told the girl taking my order it was my first time there and she gave a quick rundown of popular items.
Opted for a “build your own” sandwich. They have a lot of options for customizing. I did the Wheat sourdough, Turkey, salami, and all the fixings. As well as a side of their potato salad.
Bread was fresh as well as the ingredients, tasted amazing. Potato salad was delicious as well. Overall one of the best delis I’ve been to in a long time as well as the great service. I saw a gentleman hustling around making sure all the customers were taken care of. On my way out I asked if he was the owner, and turns out he was. I thanked him and left. To me, I appreciate when the owner is working just as hard as the staff to make sure everyone is happy.
I will definitely be coming back. Highly...
Read moreThis place is amazing. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is great. It’s so nice to go to a place without being shouted at for not wearing a mask. I read others reviews, and last I check aren’t reviews for food, service, etc. shame to those who give one star based on masks. Masks don’t change the taste of this amazing food. Masks don’t change this place. There is no laws being broken. Only for having the best food and pies. It’s simple fellow community members if you don’t like a place because employees aren’t wearing masks don’t go. There are no laws being broken. Take your business elsewhere. There are so many of us here that will support a business like Cider Creek Bakery and so many more as they don’t turn away customers for exercising the constitutional rights. Thank you...
