Inside the Hope Artiste Village, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, it’s a charming space that instantly feels like a second home for book lovers. Alyssa, the owner, is incredibly sweet and so easy to talk to. She makes every visit feel personal, always offering great recommendations and striking up wonderful conversations about books.

One of the best features of this bookshop is the Blind Date with a Book concept – such a fun, unique experience! You never quite know what you’re going to get, which is where the excitement comes from! But Alyssa does an amazing job picking books based on your Goodreads reviews. Each blind date is carefully and beautifully wrapped, with some little goodies attached (stickers, lotion, a pen, hair scrunchie and more)! The book she picked out for me, Praise by Sara Cate, ended up being one of my top TBR books, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled! I was over the moon when I opened the package. It’s clear that Alyssa has an intuitive sense of what people will love, and her passion for books shines through in every interaction.

Alyssa is amazing! I visited once for a few minutes when she first opened and when I say I have been there multiple times since, I mean it! Her book clubs are organized and are very comfortable atmospheres that even the most introverted people feel at home in.
