The Hope Artiste Village is an economic gift to the southern Pawtucket area, part of a revival of a state that is trying to reinvent itself as place to live, work, make, and create.
It does this by being part event center, part office space, part retail center, and part lifestyle center.
Businesses that exist here include a violin production facility, a state wide coffee roaster, an outdoor goods supplier, an artists collective and student non-profit, a CPA office, and even the hub for a food distributor that focuses on local farmers and access to good food.
If you spend more time there, you'll notice that the walls in one of the two hallways are filled with the works introducing Rhode Island's famous musical talent. The Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame is here, and can be a wonderful addition to the indoor Winter Farmer's Market that occurs on Saturdays in the winter.
To put it simply, the Hope Artiste Village is one of many southeastern New England renovated and revamped mills that carries the hopes and dreams of small business owners and creatives, alike. Check it out and more like it around the greater Providence area, there is something for...
Read moreI have been very disappointed with the Hope artiste village lately. The customer service is horrible and the staff are very inefficient. Jacqueline DuBose, who is the person I have been working with completely switches up all of the information given to me. She is trying to charge me more per hour and adding in fees that were never mentioned before. I am so upset with the way things have been handled. I strongly suggest anyone wanting to book an event with the Hope Artiste Studios look else where. The professionalism is lacking in so many ways and there are many other spots in the area with...
Read moreAs one of the first artist / entrepreneurs to move into the building Ahlers Designs and now The Empowerment Factory I have seen this community of artists, designers and entrepreneurs grow and flourish.
We now have two restaurants in the building, The Bread Lad and Nosh, we have the best coffee from New Harvest Coffee. This is a vibrant community of interdependent businesses. Besides the businesses here, there is the music venue The Met which supports local musician and touring bands. There is an amazing winter farmer's market from November to May each year, with local bake goods, fresh fish, grass feed beef and lots of other goodies, not to mention the fresh eggs and veggies.
Ahlers Designs is a happy member of this community. #art #community #business...
