Disclaimer: This is based on my average of two visits to this place. I had to fight myself to not give it a 1-star rating because of a black gentleman who works in this location and who showed a rare trait of being helpful and compassionate.
Here goes the detailed review:
Reached this place around seven in the evening and was held at two desks with really slow gentlemen. We still held our patience and finally reached the desk where we were informed that we had to fill out an additional customs form because this shipment was being sent overseas (all good so far). We consulted our colleague who had sent such shipments multiple times and she informed us that this is usually done by the FedEx agents and then can help you but the gentleman at counter 2 would not deter at all and forced us to fill out the form. We had to forfeit the line and fill it out and then get back in line (By this time it was 7.30 and the place closes at 8.15 pm) After we filled out the form, we went to counter 3 since counter two was busy and handed him the form. This person placed the form facing down and did not even look at the form and he said he would take care of everything. We re-confirmed and he confirmed that he does not need this form and he can fill it out on the internal website. (Stared at counter 2 rep and continued). We were very grateful to him but I guess it was too early to judge.
He asked why we did not print the label at home and we mentioned we were in a hurry. At this point he gave us totally unnecessary information - "you know you would be charged 20% extra since you are wasting my time to fill out this form and print out the label". - These exact words. We were dumbstruck but were getting late so continued there somehow. Next, he could not upload the information. I gently asked if he could retry. He replied - "Hello, I have already tried 18 times and now it's 20. Try counter 1."
With the clock at 7.50, we went to counter 1 where we were greeted with a smile. No requirement for the customs form as he helped to fill in the details and we were done in 10 min. He was so helpful and cheerful throughout the process. I wish I knew his name and would definitely write it here. The black gentleman is the only reason I am giving this horrible place with morose service a two-star and not a 1-star review.
I hope I never have to go...
Read moreI am writing this review in regards to my experience with receiving a delivery of a high value item. Also, I am writing this review in order to give some of you hope in receiving your delivery who do not have any previous experience in receiving a delivery issued out of this facility. I was not notified by the sender when my order was shipped, so I ended up missing my delivery. I was at home, but since I was not expecting anyone, I did not go to my door. I was so upset when I realized what I had missed! The driver left a "blank" door tag without anything checked as to if they would try to redeliver, for example. Then, I decided to go on the FedEx website and it informed me it was delayed and was coming out of this shipping center. Reading these reviews gave me a migraine for the rest of the day and I had to calm myself down lol. I am serious! Anyways, what I did not want to do was to have to pick it up (45 min from my house) and go through that process. So, after calming myself down, I decided to call FedEx, and he said another attempt would be made tomorrow. He also mentioned I could go pick it up, and I told him NO! LOL! So, the next day I remembered what time the delivery came and planned to be at home as usual. I even had my shutters open and garage up to let him know I was indeed at home. Don't play lol. Anyways, my delivery ended up coming 2 hours before the previous day attempted delivery and it was delivered from an older gentleman in a small FedEx van. I signed and received my delivery! He also called me "Madame" and I thought I was in France for a moment lol! Okay, my advice to someone reading this expecting a delivery is to "keep it in motion". What I mean by that is to try to be at home for the second attempt and do not put your delivery on hold (unless you absolutely have to). Worst case scenario, I told myself, was that it would get sent back to the sender and I would get my money back. Then, I can either re-order online or go to the boutique...

On 1/8/22, my 55 inch tv was scheduled to be delivered to my apt and a signature was required. Because I wasn’t available during the time of delivery, a notice was placed on my door indicating another attempt would be made on 1/11. My husband and I waited ALL day, but no one showed. I called customer service to find out the status of the delivery and was told I would receive a call back with its location. I never did. The next day, my husband called to find out the status of the delivery, and again we were told we would receive a return call with a location of the tv. Not only did we not receive a call, the tv was never delivered to our apt. On 1/13/22, the status of the tv was changed to delivered. However, to this day, we still DO NOT have the tv. We’ve tried to contact FedEx to launch an investigation but the only thing we’ve been told is that “someone signed for it”. I am beyond FURIOUS that our tv has been stolen or mis-delivered and FedEx has done NOTHING to rectify the situation. Did the driver check the person’s ID before getting their signature? Clearly not. Are the vehicles loaded with a tracking device, so FedEx can determine WHERE the tv was taken? Probably not. Do drivers take a photo of the product at the delivery site and send it to the recipient like every other delivery company including Ubereats to prove that it was indeed taken to the right location? Surprisingly, NO! Has management contacted me or my husband in order to launch a proper investigation? NO THEY HAVEN’T! We are unable to get a refund from Walmart until the tv is located, so we are out of pocket $500 because of FedEx’s incompetence and negligence. I expect this matter to be PROPERLY handled within the next 72 hours or I will be contacting your insurance carrier and filing a claim as well as contacting...
