I visited this Burger King on June 20th around 4:00 p.m. I ordered two Impossible Whoppers, no mayo. After sitting down, I noticed there was mayo on the bun, so I went back to the front counter. I nicely said to the lady at the counter, " I asked for no mayo and there's mayo, I'm a vegan, would you please make it again?" A light skin young lady then begin to say check to see if I asked for no mayo on the ticket, because if it doesn't say no mayonnaise, then I need to pay for the burger again. She said that the managers had been getting on them about inventory. They check the ticket and it doesn't say no mayo, however, I am sure that I told her no mayo because I am a vegan. The light skin lady said a few curse words though not directly to me and I turned around and said excuse me. She said she wasn't talking to me, but the lady behind the counter and she was just talking about inventory. A large black woman, who said her name was Sharita I think, with a ponytail in her hair started talking smack. She said I probably said no mayo but she didn't hear me. I said it loud and clear, she just wasn't paying attention. She then said I walked up to the counter with an attitude, I informed her that I don't work for her and if I need a new burger, then I need a new burger. I'm not her child so she's not to address me as such. I asked her, her name and she quickly shouted out Sherita. She continued to say disrespectful things under her breath. She is very rude and has no customer service skills. The light skin lady did apologize and I appreciate that. She walked around like she owned the place, it's a shame with an attitude like that you'll never work anywhere else or get further in life unless you change your ways. No one should be treated like that, it was a simple request. I would have never received this type of service at Chick-Fil-A. My daughter was looking into getting a job there because we just moved into the area however, she will never work there. If she will talk to a customer like that, I can't imagine how they would treat teenagers working there. I don't plan on going back and I'll be calling corporate in the morning! She needs to be fired, that is just my...
Read moreI guess my first mistake was not looking at the recent reviews before placing my order through the Burger King App. I decided to try the Whopper for 2 Meal. It was a great deal for a late dinner. The app even allowed me to customize my meal, so I added cheese and a few other tweaks to make it perfect.
However, the moment I received my order, it was clear that the app was just a façade of convenience. The Whopper was not only missing the cheese I specifically added, but my whole order seemed to be a jumbled mess. Frustrated, I drove back around to the drive-thru for the second time, hoping to resolve the issue.
When I reached the window, I explained my situation to a young man who seemed more interested in socializing with his coworkers than the customers. He told me he could only refer to the receipt, which apparently didn’t mention my customization requests. I was left feeling invisible and like my concerns didn’t matter. It’s frustrating enough when an app malfunctions, but to be brushed off like that was really disappointing.
To make matters worse, the food itself was abysmal. Everything—burger, fries, onion rings, and even the churros—was cold and clearly not made to order. It felt like I was eating leftovers from the bottom of a warming tray rather than a fresh meal. I was ready for well prepared hot food you know "Have It Your Way", but yet I received a sad display of what fast food should never be.
All in all, my experience was a complete letdown. Between the mix-up and the subpar quality of the food, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re in the mood for a burger. Lesson learned: trust the recent reviews and save your appetite and money for a place that values customer...
Read moreFirst, I want to say, Ron and Monica, I adore you. These are the people making this BK worth visiting. I give them 5 stars and then some. That being said, what's the deal with the coffee? I went a few weeks ago, and they didn't have coffee (to which I inquire, did someone steal the coffee maker??). Okay, maybe I came at a 'no coffee' time of day. But today I visited. I ordered a coffee, but there's no such thing as cream there. ?? They offered sugar, but nothing in the way of cream. It made me curious, and statistics show something like 60% of coffee drinkers prefer cream and sugar. Why on earth would BK make the decision to offer something, then guarantee that 60% of the people that buy it will be disappointed? Maybe when you read back the order, go ahead and say "And one large black coffee", as that's what you're providing -- not the easily customizable experience that comes from offering cream to go with it. (Admittedly an experience I've come to take for granted, and I'm shocked that a business chooses to break...
