I am so impressed and grateful for the customer service at KT. My husband and I ordered a 48" range from Forte in December at an AMAZING price via KT Appliance. It took about a month to be delivered since we're in a rural location and there was an expected delay due to the holidays. The range was absolutely gorgeous, and so beautifully well made - my contractor was so impressed with the sheer size and quality of the range. However, we ran into an issue with the installation; the stove couldn't be completely converted from NG to LP because the orifices in the biggest burner were stuck. So, we ultimately had to return the range. This caused a lot of frustration, and I expected the return process to be hellish. Boy, was I wrong! As soon as I requested a return, Ben contacted me within a few hours and asked if I wanted KT so send out a technician, free of charge, to assess the orifice issue. I declined since we were already fed up, and opted for a return/refund instead. We initially paid an additional $200 to have the range delivered [again, due to our rural location], and expected to pay another out of pocket fee to have the range picked up. Wrong again! Ben immediately got in contact with the transportation company and the range was picked up within the week - KT covered the cost! Not only that, he refunded the cost of the range AND the initial $200 delivery fee the day after the range was picked up. Where can you find customer service like that these days? I will RAVE about KT Appliance to everyone who's looking for an appliance and pray that this business flourishes. God bless...
   Read moreApparently I am in the minority, but I was not happy with the delivery and install experience after purchasing a new Bosch dishwasher from KT Appliance. Actually decided to pay a couple hundred dollars more compared to Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. because I thought it would be much better customer service when it came to delivery and install. I was wrong. First, the delivery and install is handled by a third party trucking company; not KT employees. No communication on the delivery date until I received an email the day before. Not exactly convenient if you don't work from home. Several calls later, they finally "may" be able to deliver on a day that works for me. Finally got it delivered but they did not have a junction box to wire it up so they left the dishwasher in my kitchen with plans to reschedule. Called KT, who blamed it on the delivery company and said they would purchase a new junction box and have it delivered to my house, which took over a week, meanwhile the new dishwasher sat in the middle of my kitchen. After several more calls back to the trucking company to get a new install date scheduled, the installation was terrible. Didn't install the vapor barrier, junction box was not properly mounted, and the dishwasher was not level or centered in the space. So I had to pull the whole dishwasher out and basically redo the install myself. The trucking company was more at fault than KT, and KT did make it right by refunding me the installation charge. Technician returns to install part and after another three hours tinkering, he informes me it’s not the magnetron in the microwave. Another diagnosis (which first one should have been accurate) technician informes me the new part is going to cost $222. Plus repair service cost of $250. So I would be paying this company approximately $780.00 for a repair that may or may not work. Called the Better Business Bureau and filled a complaint as well as Ge Customer relations. Last, technician over charged me for the labor. Two neighbors were charged $50.00 less an hour for larger appliances. WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USE...
