I came into the store on Saturday 3/18/2017 for St. Patricks day sale and the sales manager was nice both times I had encountered him. I went for a washer and dryer I was told because I'd rent previously and it wasn't that long ago, I didn't have to fill out a new order form.I'd paid my money and signed agreement and was told that I would have recieved the merchandise on Monday 3/20. On Monday I recieved a phone called Monday stating I needed to fill out a new form because my employer had changed. I came to the around around 3 p.m. to update the information. This was my delivery day and I did not hear from them, the rest of the day and they close at 8p.m, so I called and spoke with the general manager and he was so rude and act as if he didn't care. The best thing he suggested was I can get my money back. I called at 8A.M.on Tuesday morning and spoke with David, and David let me know that my employer had left a message to call a 800 number to verify my employment. I called back and spoke to the regional manager to check the status and all I'd recieved was the run arounds. At 3 P.M, I went back into the store in a polite manner, non agressive and with no attitudes, asking if they were able to get in contact with my employer. The general manager states "I don't know", well how don't you know sir being the general manager, you should be abreasted on every account and issues within your store. No response from him. I asked him can he call while I was present in the store and he said he'd other accounts that he was working on. So I asked will it be today, so I can get it delivered he replied, it won't be today, I thought you was going to get your money back, I said no sir, I needed the merchandise on Monday like it ststed in the contract when I PAID my money. Today is now Wednesday the 22nd and I called at 11:40 A.M.to check the status and I was on hold for atleast 10 minutes. I spoke with the rude general manager again to see if they were able to speak with my husband's employer because I added him to the application, to help speed up the process. Je stated we called your husbands employer late last night and she did not answer, what the general manager did not realize is my husband works night and he asked his supervisor and she stated no one never called. So now I am LIVID, bc I know this GROWN MAN isn't lying and playing children games. Earlier that day we went to Buddy's and made a purchase and it's funny because they were able to contact the same manager Aaron were "Supposingly trying to call. I asked him ok sir why haven't you called the 800 number for my employer, your first priority should be to satisfying your customers always. His response again was I don't know if they called or not, I said sir, you are the general manager why are you lying? His next response was "I'm not dealing with thos just come and get your money, I'm not delivering nothing to you. My 1st thought was what just happend? Not one time I had a attitude with this gentlemen and why doesn't he care or want to make this process less difficult. Was it the color of my skin? Is he that rude with every customer to the point he would tell them to come back and get their money? What was it? Wow!!! you just proved to me what I was thinking all along. I feel the general manager discriminated against me because the color of my skin. You represent Aaron's company not your personal business and to deny a sale especially when I had never gotten out of line with you was totally unprofessional. I did filed a compliant with the company because this was unacceptable. I am hurt that someone would do such a thing. Mr. General manager, you have no...
Read moreI had a delivery set for 3pm on today; 2 weeks ago. One of the staff members called yesterday to try and find out if they could deliver our furniture set, and unfortunately; we were unavailable at that time, so when we called back to find out what they needed, they told us that they were trying to see if we wanted our furniture early. Needless to say, we stayed with our original appointment time; today after 3. I took off work, gave my old furniture away and prepared for them to deliver my furniture. Not to mention I have family coming in town for the fourth. Noe' the "general manager" VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! He told me that he couldn't promise that we would get our delivery today, and that they called this morning to confirm delivery and no one answered. He said no one put notes in the system that we called on yesterday. My husband left to go and show him his phone so he can see that we talked to one of his employees. He said that that's hear say. I reminded him that they should have caller ID, and he agreed. I also had to remind him of his position as the GM, and that this is not the customer's fault, and it's his job to make this right. He told me that he is not going to have his team out late delivering furniture, even though its no fault of the customer!!!! He also told me that he is not going to do this with me. Do what? I was confused. I feel like I am dreaming!!! He STILL could not assure me that we would get our furniture out today. I am so...
Read moreI am truly frustrated with an ongoing issue that I am having with a dryer I purchased from Aaron’s. The dryer has been out for service at least three times for the same problem. The heating element keeps going out. I keep the dryer hose and dryer vent well maintained. So, I placed a call this morning to get the dryer serviced yet again for the same issue mind you and was told that the dryer is out of warranty. I pay for a monthly service agreement and expected to same response as at other times (we’ll send someone out to pickup your dryer and send out a loaner until your dryer can be repaired.) Instead, I received a number to a roadside service and a second number to a warranty company that has not done work for Aaron’s in the past 3 years. I found out today that if you purchase a product through Aaron’s, once you make your last payment on the product, the relationship is over regardless of an ongoing service agreement. Thank...
