CC's Jewelry — Local services in Pearland

I normally don't post reviews online but for this business I thought I should because maybe the next customer might not make the same mistake that I did. My low rating isn't because the owner wasn't pleasant, rather it's his knowledge about watch repair. I needed to resize band on the watch that I bought online. My first problem with this place is that you have to wait a few hours before the job is done. I had to come back 3 hours later to have 4 links removed. Even with 4 removed, the band was still loose. I asked if 1 more link could be removed but was told by the owner that this last one wasn't supposed to be removed because it didn't have an arrow next to it. That the pin holding it in place was a different pin and he didn't have the right equipment for it but if I wasn't happy after a few days, I could bring back my watch and he would ask a friend who had the right tools to remove it. Or he could hammer out the pin now but he couldn't promise that it would work. Since he didn't appear confident and I didn't want to ruin a brand new watch, I decided against the use of the hammer. The next few days I hated wearing the new watch because it was too loose on the wrist. One day after work, I decided to use a place called fast fix inside baybrook mall and to my amazement, this last link was removed in a minute and was told no special equipment was needed. And I didn't have to wait several hours. The charge was the same price I paid at CC's jewelry. When I compared it to the previously removed pins, this one was exactly the same. I could have saved myself some money if I used fast fix in the first place. I am just a regular customer with no affiliation...

Elderly woman working there was very condescending and rude. Said my 925 silver is teenage jewelry, that I was silly and said the $50 dollar service charge for the repair was a "fortune" maybe to her..didn't understand the $50 being a fortune comment or the teenage jewelry comment. I am 31. I guess she thought I was younger. Even then sterling sterling silver not being worth the trouble of fixing is a silly comment to make from a place that also sells...

The diamond to my wedding ring fell out and I took it in for them to reset it. They accidentally forgot to drop it off for repair, so when I went in to pick it up it wasn't ready. They apologized and took it in right away to repair it and I picked it up the next day. Not only were they apologetic they took it a step further and didn't charge me for it. This is excellent customer service and I would recommend...
