I've been having my nails done for decades. There are good and bad techs. Generally, I have great luck getting a decent one, but not this time. The young man assigned to do my manicure was not happy. It was all over his face. I tried to lighten the mood, asked questions, and he completely ignored me. After another question, he finally answered that he had to work all day and couldn't leave until customers stopped coming in. Then he said, 'That's why I don't want to work on your nails.' Great. Then there was a misunderstanding about filling a nail defect due to the terms used. By the time that was figured out, I explained that I wanted the defect filled in with acrylic. He said, 'No, we don't do that here, we leave it and just paint over it. I thought, welp, I won't be getting my nails done here. I looked at, what appeared to be the supervisor, and told her that the tech is very unhappy, and I'll come another time when he isn't so angry. Quite frankly, I won't pay money to someone that doesn't want to do my nails and is just plain rude. It's unfortunate, but I think this young man should find a job that he somewhat enjoys and doesn't require working with the public or find an employer sympathetic to his work hours. Very ruid short man did a full set, did not listen. I asked for medium round, did not listen, he cut them to short, there were very big tips and sticking out to the sides. I told him no, he did not listen, he nail station looked dirty the purple solutions dispenser looked very dirty, the full set nails I didnt like them, and was made too short they look fat ugly nails not matching at all. He was too busy listing with his earphones, he burned me with his drill twice, I told him get off the phone pay attention as he burned my finger, it still was not matching too fat short. I told him redo it he yelled at me in front of customers they were listening. Very rude short man should not work. You don't yell at a customers if you don't know how to make full set nails and listen get your ear buds off while working. The nails were really short fat sticking out of the sides uneven and got burned. I want them off there so ugly. I should have bought prees on nails. This is my second time visiting this place and I will not be back. The first visit was better than this visit (09/24/23) The guy who was assigned to complete my pedicure seemed to have an attitude the whole time. I asked for regular polish with design but he says he only does design with gel. I asked him could someone else in the shop do it. He looks around the shop and says yes but only with gel. At the end of pedicure before getting polish he gets up and says “I’m not doing design”. I ask someone else in shop. She says, the same as he did.. only on gel. Then others chimed in to say because on regular polish it could mess up and they would need to do it over. However, because I get design every time I get pedicures, I’m willing to take the risk and if I mess it up then I will not ask for it to be redone, is what I told them. Still a no.
