Terrible course. I played 9 today because I couldn’t stand to play anymore. The first couple holes are alright, firm fairways but alright. Once you get to hole 4 or so, it goes downhill. I don’t think I hit on the actual tee box all day. All of the markers were moved off the boxes to equally bad patches of grass. Fairways were in terrible shape. Most of the time you hit from dirt in the middle of the fairway. Hole 5 or 6 is littered with broken beer bottles. Forget the sand trap, watch out for the glass trap. It’s the entire fairway! The hole immediately after the glass palace is like hitting into a desert. You tee off from a sand pile and hit into nothing but dirt. Then you hit a long iron from the Sahara onto the green. The carts did have GPS though! Maybe instead of paying for GPS and geofencing, you can spend some money on grass seed and water. Lastly, its not cheap. I paid almost $30 for 9 holes. This course should be $10 and you get a sleeve of balls on your way out. Don’t waste your time or money. You will just end up with dirty clubs, frustration, and the possible shard of glass...
Read moreI recently played a round at this golf course and was consistently impressed by the quality of the course and the exceptional pricing. Honestly, it's some of the cheapest golfing that I've seen in West Texas so far, which makes it an excellent choice for golfers on a budget. However, what really impressed me was the overall quality of the course itself. The course was well-maintained, with smooth greens, fairways, and great bunkers. Additionally, it provided a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all levels. I really appreciate the staff's attention to maintaining the course under budget and I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for affordable and quality golfing...
Read moreFairways are getting better but there is no rough it’s just dirt. Weeds are pretty bad, not sure why they don’t spray them or pull them. Greens are pretty good and are kept nice. This is a cart path only golf cart course and I’m glad they do that to get the fairways in better shape, I only hope one day after fairways are deemed ok they will allow carts on fairways. This course has gone through a lot of tough times but the course is definitely looking better “especially for west Texas”. Staff is very friendly and if your looking for a moderately challenging course then it’s definitely worth a try, if you can keep it in the fairway then you’ll have...
